Re: Do u prefer pulse or meter pitching?

For those using the meter, do you push the button once or three times?

Like, once to start, again at the top, and then again in the mid?

Or press once, hold, and then release when it comes back to the narrow slice?

First time playing The Show, but I've stuck with pulse so far because meter and pure analog clutter the screen with huge displays that really distract me. Does 'classic' pitch to each pitcher's ratings?

I had a ton of trouble getting a handle on Pulse and it seemed way too random, even when I did get a small circle so I switched to Meter and the results have been much better.

Pure Analog I find the most fun. I play on Allstar level n you just need to move the pitching sliders down to like 3. Having good results

            Yes.

All of the interfaces do, but Classic specifically is the only interface that removes the human timing element.

This is what I'm talking about. Meter is almost too accurate and unrealistic although until this year that's all I've ever used. Gonna keep going with pulse for a while although it messes with my eyes at times.

First time Show owner here. Selfishly wish they could steal 2k's analog pitching scheme. That was my favorite over all other modes because it differentiated each pitch type with a different challenge. For The Show I go with meter though. Seems to be the most consistent for me. Pulse feels to random but that's just me.

I initially did 3 pushes but I think the manual says to press once and hold. Then release at the top and press a second time when you wanna stop it. I started doing that and results seem better. Hopefully I'm right. Lol.

I started using meter this year, but I feel like it was way too random and the pitches didn't really go where you aimed, even when you nailed the meter. I went over to Pulse a few games ago and it seems much more realistic. I'm still walking guys and miss the occasional spot, but the ball at least goes in the vicinity of where I'm aiming now.

Was getting rocked with meter. Switched to pulse, same difficulty, and threw back to back 1 hitters.

I like pulse better, I like the randomness of it. Pitchers aren't robots, not every pitch is going to be pin point accurate which I feel meter pitching allows you to do. Pin point accuracy every pitch once you've gotten the hang of it. That's just my 2 cents though!

If I can ONLY pick one of those, meter.

but I am a Classic guy. Lets me focus on the strategy of the at bat, and enjoy the motions and what not, don't have to watch a meter, I can watch the pretty graphics!

Meter, just as many have said I feel more in control with it.
