I'm so used to using meter that it's hard for me to get used to anything else. I do think pulse pitching is pretty cool, but i'll stick with meter.

I use meter pitching but I wish they would include MLB 2Ks gesture pitching. Games borrow stuff from each other. Thats how they get better.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Meter as pulse gives me headaches.

I use meter the majority of the time but pulse is a nice change of pace to stave off repetition and keep things fresh.

I use Pulse because I like the way it requires concentration, plus I'm very inconsistent with Meter.

When using pulse, I know you push the button when it pulses at the smallest point. But what controls the power of the pitch..the speed? Do you just push it once and wait and see, when it's at the smallest point, or do you push , and hold...the longer you hold the more power? Please excuse me... My very first The Show... Yes... I made the switch from Xbox.

Unless it changed this year, I'm pretty sure the alignment of the stars determines the speed of the pitch.

I know SCEA has been looking into ways to incorporate a "effort system" without breaking the concept of the mechanic (since it's supposed to be simple and seamless).

I haven't tried Pulse this year, so again, it very well could have changed already, but as far as I know, it's random/AI controlled.

This! Amen brother. That's why I'm a meter guy, myself.

I have never used anything else but the Classic (where you press button for pitch and then hold or tap for velocity)

Last console show I played was 10 and used meter. Then two years ago with the vita I tried pulse and everytime I'd hit it the circle was always big. Hit it small it would go big, hit it big it would stay so I went to analog. Did some warm up throws on the ps4 and went back to analog. Only because pulse felt too random. I was never in my location despite the small circle

I like playing classic pitching with balks turned off.

That allows you to fire pitches off in rapid succession so you can finish games much quicker.

Pulse feels a little more realistic to me. Gives me more room for error and I don't feel like I'm always hitting my spot

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I LOVE Analog pitching! Been using it the past few years, and I just like the feel of aiming it toward the plate. I also like how your location can vary more, like real pitching. Pulse seems incredibly tedious to me..

I might give analog a try. Pulse seems to be the most realistic because to me meter is just too accurate and I dominate hitters unrealistically. I like pulse but it is tedious and messes with my eyes. I'll give analog a shot maybe it'll be that middle of the road between meter and pulse that I'm looking for.
