    Tips on getting better?

I'm beyond terrible at this game. I've been a PS guy since PS2, but I'm new to the Show. I've been a casual baseball fan for a few years, so I thought I would be somewhat decent right out of the gates. False. I swing at everything, every time I throw a pitch it's hit, and I can't field adequately either.

I'd really appreciate some tips on how to get better. Especially plate vision and discipline (I swing at EVERYTHING).

Practice mode for hitting. Don't be afraid to use beginner difficulty at first. It won't last too long. You'll be hitting big flys in no time.

For what it's worth, I've always thought veteran difficulty when hitting is tricky. It's like the pitcher throws strikes when he should be mixing it up. I tend to chase everything on veteran. On all-star I'm more composed.

You can turn dynamic difficulty on I however suck at hitting also the key is to be patient and focus on the pitchers release point it's easier said then done but you'll get better eventually practice makes perfect
