Fielding Issues? Can someone set me straight?

Never played this game before. I'm doing alright navigating through the sliders but I'm having a real hard time with fielding. 8-9 errors a game all on over throws or inaccurate throws to 2nd or 1st.

Is this a difficulty thing or user error? I get a lot of one hoppers to my SS that I end up throwing an underhand toss to my 2nd base guy only to watch the ball go flying over his head. Or a toss to first that pulls the guy off the bag or goes whizzing over his head. Seems excessive.

Do I need to position my fielder before pressing the button to throw the ball?

    Any advice...

Well what kind of throwing controls are you using? And is the meter turned on?

Button controls and I have the meter off. I know the meter is power sensitive but is it error sensitive as well?

Button? or Button Accuracy? You should double check....There's a really big difference. If you have button accuracy enabled, that would explain all the throwing errors. Without the meter on, you're basically making an error like 80% of the time.

(Meter "off" doesn't disable the meter, it just hides it).

"Button accuracy" setting is a must for me. Not a fan of the default throwing setting. I need to see the actual meter on screen ala MVP 05.

I'm pretty sure that's my problem. Thanks for the help.

I absolutely agree!! Should have been the default like the ps3 version.

It is the default version actually... it's only not the default if you pick "Beginner" mode.

And I prefer regular button mode (or analog). I hate the giant meter.

Gotta love that they give us options.

Well, unless I hit something by accident, button accuracy was not the default on experienced. I ain't no beginner
