    Catcher throwing

How are people doing this? I'm using the "buttons" setting for fielding. Throwing meter is on. Throw canceling is on.

Anytime I try to do a snap throw or throw out a stealer with my catcher, he does one of two things:

    1. If I hold the button, no meter comes up like with other fielders. He simply stands there and whips his arm around multiple times without throwing the ball.

    2. If I press the button once, no meter comes up again, and he just lobs the ball to whatever base I pressed.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

    Re: Catcher throwing

I can only answer for ps3:

Hitting the button once is correct. If non of the infielders is near the base, he will wait and lob it. It only works if an infielder is waiting for a PO.
There is no throwing meter for snap throws and throwing out basestealers. I don't know of this is a bug. I have thread about RTTS catcher issues on the PS3 forum. Pure analog is even worse! No answers yet!
