Is Analog Throwing + Throw Meter Display Possible?

I wanted to check with the experts (you guys) and see if this is possible in MLB 14.

I hate using button controls for throwing (I just feel it's more organic to use the right stick), but I really want to have the throwing meter available when making a throw.

Is it possible, or is this a lost cause?
