A patch to use Dynamic Fielding Camera on offense?

I'm lovin' the new Dynamic Fielding Camera. Wish I could use it on offense though. Hoping in can be patched in.

What are you talking about? There's a dynamic camera for defense and offense.

That's right, two different cameras. I think the one for fielding is great, and would like to be able to use it while on offense as well, because I think it's a lot better than the dynamic hitting camera. It does a much better job showing all the action.

I like the hitting camera. I also think every ball in the outfield is a home run at first though.

The view of the action on hits to the OF becomes too small with the dynamic hitting cam.

The dynamic fielding cam on the other hand is the best camera angle I've seen in a baseball videogame.

Edit: Derp, link deleted, I only confused the matter.

I've started lobbying on the official site too. Vote there if you want it patched in:

OWN THE SHOW Experience faster, deeper and more intense moment-to-moment match action on the field, with a variety of game modes for all you rookie players and returning seasoned vets. Purchase Live out your dreams Step on the diamond while surrounded by corn fields with the addition of MLB® Field of Dreams added to MLB® […]

Hopefully they consider that suggestion. It'd be a shame to waste such a nice bit of design.

Patches aren't for new features and the dynamic batting cam was never meant to be used on defense. This is by design.

Can I ask where the "low" fielding cam has gone and if there is any settings that I can use to get a lower view and more zoom for balls in the field, especially the deep outfield? It's too far away and too high with all these views for my liking. Thanks for any insight.

Not to argue but I have seen patches add in additional camera angles on other sports titles in the past. Also, I wanted to clarify that the original poster was looking to have the dynamic fielding camera added to the offensive fielding camera. When you mentioned that the batting camera was never meant to be used on defense, it sound like you may have his request inversed. Not that it matters but in the event this was to be considered in the future it would be great to have it right.

+1 I was looking for the low cam and it was gone. Medium is nice but it seems higher than I remember. I haven't tried high at all yet....I can't imagine.

                  Thanks.

Too bad. I've gone back to the Medium cam for hitting, just because the dynamic one pushes things too far off in the distance on hits to the outfield. Makes it hard to pick up and get a read on a ball because everything gets so tiny.

The fielding one is beautiful though. You get great views on pretty much everything.

                    I hope you guys reconsider!

Yeah, Dynamic Hitting camera on defense would be near impossible.

I get what they were trying to do though, to make each one have a distinct third person feel. Thing is, Dynamic Fielding ended up being a great all around view.

It was removed in favor of the Dynamic Cam. I'll put it on the list for 15.

Ahh ok hmmmmmmmmm if we do another patch we might be able to add that option in since it already exits.

Disappointing as it hurts both the tremendous visuals of this game as well as function when trying to gauge what's going on.

But I appreciated the response and will hope to see the changes in the future, if possible. Thanks.

Thanks for listening. I was trying to not sound unappreciative of your efforts but plain text on a forum can be interpreted a number of ways.
