    Inaccuracies with your teams Stadium

I wanted to create this thread since the game is out and we can see our teams stadiums. I am a Yankee fan and see some inaccuracies I hope that can be patched or fixed for next years addition.

    Yankee Stadium:

    1. Bleacher seats are concrete/ gray (Not Blue). This was actually fixed in the Ps3 version, but failed in the PS4 version where all the seats are blue. Here is a pic to show the bleacher section in real life.

    2. Black net needs to be placed over monument park.

    3. Frieze needs to be bright white which encircles the stadium.

    4. And lastly the elevated train that passes by the stadium in right field does not stop in real life. It continuously passes by the stadium. The actual train stop in further down River Ave. and can't be seen from inside the stadium. Train should continuously drive by.

Re: Inaccuracies with your teams Stadium

I forgot one thing. The flags that are top of Yankee Stadium are team standings. The flags need to be team specific colors, not all American Flags.

All these are nitpicking tho. I think the Show is beautiful and an amazing effort for it's 1st release on PS4.

I hope next year fans catch balls in the crowd! This would be incredible. Thanks SCEA, you guys are great!

I think Sony moved feedback stuff like this to their (theshownation.com) forums; at least that's where I just posted some thoughts on Wrigley Field.

Not that they wouldn't see it here, but I think they try to keep it over there to consolidate.

This is for Progressive Field on the PS4. I'll post it to theshownation.com as well.

(I apologize for the length, just want to be thorough)

          1. Heritage Park, SUV In Center Field

The picnic area that is present in the game has not been there for quite some time in real life. It has been turned into Heritage Park, an in-park Indians hall of fame. The whole area is different from architecture to trees/hedges. Also in the game, in the center field stands there is an empty platform where the Progressive SUV should live, as it does in reality. I know you can't put "Progressive" in the game anywhere, but a generic SUV vehicle would suffice. In reality it lights up and spins and shoots out t-shirts and confetti for home runs and Indians home wins. But the important part being having a generic SUV-type vehicle on that platform.

          <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/73639651@N07/14162866345" title="HERITAGE PARK_SUV by Convoytron, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5191/14162866345_71494b9177_b.jpg" width="402" height="1024" alt="HERITAGE PARK_SUV"></a>

          2. Missing Terminal Tower

Terminal Tower, which sits behind Quicken Loans Arena in reality, is missing from the game.

          <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/73639651@N07/14139695156" title="TERMINAL TOWER by Convoytron, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2925/14139695156_a8dea33fd4_b.jpg" width="529" height="1024" alt="TERMINAL TOWER"></a>

          3. Scoreboard

The script Indians above the scoreboard is outlined by lights. It is illuminated during the day and into the evening. Can the Indians script be tuned to look a little more illuminated than it currently is? In addition, the Progressive Field sign looks to be only half-lit in the game. If the right side of the Progressive Field sign can be made to look like the left side, which looks lit up, that'd be great. And one more thing to point out... The top center of the scoreboard in the game has a scrolling "Go Tribe!" ribbon board graphic, when in reality no such thing exists. It's just advertisements around the scoreboard, nothing special. Can the scrolling "Go Tribe!" please be removed and replaced with some static/generic advertisement please?

          <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/73639651@N07/14182945853" title="SCOREBOARD by Convoytron, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7393/14182945853_3a142a126a_b.jpg" width="519" height="1024" alt="SCOREBOARD"></a>

          4. Rain Tarp Along Third Base Line

Pretty simple, the rain tarp is missing along the third base line.

          <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/73639651@N07/14159532071" title="RAIN TARP by Convoytron, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7454/14159532071_710cecd615_z.jpg" width="640" height="541" alt="RAIN TARP"></a>

          5. Tops of Dugouts

The art on top of the dugouts have changed. They now include the pennants we have won throughout the years.

          <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/73639651@N07/14159525521" title="TOP OF DUGOUTS by Convoytron, on Flickr"><img src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7348/14159525521_f049f3e751_b.jpg" width="746" height="1024" alt="TOP OF DUGOUTS"></a>

Thanks for all the hard work that you do with the game! Can't wait to see what else you can do with the PS4 in future editions of The Show!

...Also, is there any chance Cleveland can get a city shot/fly-in intro next year please?

I wish all the stadiums were more accurate down to the minute details. I was so pumped for the PS4 version since they said everything was built from the group up... kind of let down to be honest

Retired numbers are now in LF on the 3rd deck overhang instead of the OF pavilion.

At AT&T Park (the Giants ballpark) the relievers don't sit next to the bullpen.
They all sit together in the dugout, and only go to the bullpen when called to warm up.

And can they be more creative with flag configurations they use, it stands out in a bad way to have 25 american flags in some cases. Also, the draw distance from some flags make them seem ginormous from the batters box. Angels Stadium is one good example I believe. These are more general comments, I love the insight about these other stadiums

Those progressive pics are a perfect example as to why I question the "rebuilt from scratch" claim.

My worry now is they wont be fixed for years as they concentrate on other things.

There are so many examples I've found that counter the rebuilt comment. It looks to me like they rebuilt certain aspects of stadiums and not completely rebuilt from scratch. The fact heritage park still isn't there says a lot.

Here is a pic of the roof at Sefco, it still has flat textures and no "geometry". Don't let the shadows fool you, it is flat. I will update this thread as I upload more pics.

My poor Progressive Field is like the Charlie Brown of ballparks.... Gets no love or respect, hahaha.

                        Citizens Bank:

As someone mentioned in another post, bell is not lit properly. Only half of it is lit, and it doesn't light up/blink etc. when hitting a HR as it should.

Noticed that on the RF wall, where they usually show scores of games, it's just blank. Looks like there wasn't enough time to finish that part of the park.

The pennant flags are just blank flags, don't say "2008". etc.

Wrigley Field : I have checked numerous pictures of Wrigley Field and the surrounding areas, plus Google Maps and Street View, and I have never, ever seen this building anywhere. Plus the building just to the right of is should have bleachers on the rooftop. 10255346_10152903963738228_5972171070536199624_o.jpg

There are no buildings visible between the upper and lower decks. That's Addison Street behind it where they have typical Chicago neighborhood buildings. Same thing on the Clark side, I know they can't put the McDonald's in the background, but they have that, plus several buildings and a couple bars.
                          10265537_10152903969598228_2943923642167055444_o.jpg

The first one is a bigger deal than the second, because I'm staring at that for basically half the game. Both of these are forgivable, especially the one looking out towards Addison Street, but we're talking stadium inaccuracies, and I did notice them.

It's in the wrong spot in-game, but it looks like it's the building behind the 'American' side of the scoreboard.

Well done. I never even looked there. And I never realized that it was one building. I thought it was a white building behind the brown one. Looks like they're either apartments or condos on Grace and Halsted. Nice ones at that. I'd live there, but I don't have a crystal ball to predict Wednesday's lottery numbers.

In any case, these obviously aren't huge issues, and I really enjoy playing this game. But then again, this is 2014 where games are almost able to copy real life. Imagine games ten years from now.
