Dynamic Difficulty?Anybody else loving the dynamic difficulty? For those that don't know, it starts at rookie and adjusts as you get better/worse at the game. It makes me feel like I'm not cheating the game by playing it too easy, and isn't so frustrating as when I play it at a level that's too difficult. It gives each inning a little more meaning, as you can change the difficulty with a good/bad inning.Check out my Twitch channel: http://www.twitch.tv/wiser66Tags: None

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

I was wondering about this setting. I played a game last night on All-Star with the Mariners and I won 10-4 against the angels. Seemed a little too easy for me so i was curious about this. Do you have any game results?

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

Interesting concept, I am curious, does it adjust each inning, or each game or what's the frequency?

Also, does it adjust in both directions? I.e. once you get to a certain level and are losing every game, does it get easier? I'd assume so, just throwing the idea out there!Arsenal | New York YankeesComment

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

Lots of great info in this thread about the feature:

 http://www.operationsports.com/forum...on-thread.html

The thread is about the PS3 version but the feature works the same in all 3 versions. Worth a read! Totally agree that it's a great feature. Comment

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

 I'm diving back in tonight.

Since it doesn't carry over with the cloud, I played 2 1/2 games last night as the AL All-Stars and promptly pounded The Cardinal's AA affiliate for a few hours. LOL!

I'm up to Veteran + now on both sides. That was fast. That was fast.

Once I hit AS on both sides; Franchise here I come. LOL!Comment

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

One game isn't even CLOSE to enough of a sample size to judge difficulty.

That said, Dynamic Difficulty is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Remember, it also introduces in-between levels into the mix, like Veteran+ or All-Star+, none of which are available for manual selection.

I've always had trouble "enjoying" a winning or losing streak, wondering in the back of my mind if I should really be playing a level up or down. All that stupid anxiety is out the window now. Game takes care of it. Good results so far, a couple games over .500 with the Mets in May.Comment

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

Absolutely, I used it exclusively on the ps3 version and will continue to use it on the ps4. The only annoyance I had was how difficult it could be for the level to drop once it went up. I wound up on All-Star+ pitching and it was too difficult for me, but yet it took probably 18-20 games for it to drop back to an acceptable level. I will just be more careful on the ps4 to make sure I am not going up too high in difficulty.Comment

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

I have loved this feature...it goes up/down after every inning. If you have a somewhat "normal" inning it won't move up or down in difficulty. I like how it shows you exactly where the difficulty is at the beginning of each inning in the form of a pop-up box at the top of the screen. The game will always keep you aware of how the difficulty is changing as you goCheck out my Twitch channel: http://www.twitch.tv/wiser66Comment

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

It's under gameplay settings. It's actually a difficulty setting instead of all-star, veteran, etcCheck out my Twitch channel: http://www.twitch.tv/wiser66Comment

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

Under the options for batting and fielding. Instead of choosing rookie, etc., just choose dynamic.

I love using this feature and hardly having to mess with sliders every game. Now I can just enjoy my favorite sports game!Comment

 Re: Dynamic Difficulty?

 It's an actual Difficulty Level.

Go to gameplay options/settings and you'll find how to adjust the difficulty there.Comment
