    Roster issue after spring training

I simmed spring training to start my chise, when the season started, people I wanted on the 40 man and MLB were in AAA and not on the 40 man roster, how do you stop the CPU from going this automatically, it never even prompted to to make final roster decisions before moving to the regular season.

While I can't stand the shortening of franchise to "chise", I'll answer the question.

You have to do it manually before advancing to regular season. I sim through spring(did play last 5 for dynamic difficulty tuning) but after the last game of spring I go make the roster moves I want, manually injure anyone that won't play this year etc.

You can manually injure someone? Is that new this year, or have I just always missed it in the past?

To piggy back this. A common mistake is to use the 'End Spring Trainng" or whatever its called. DON'T DO THIS. You need to go to the last day of Spring Training and "Sim to this date" make your moves, then sim that date and you should be fine with the moved you've made.

Under general settings, you can set injuries to on/off/manual. When using manual, no injuries will occur outside of what you choose to do. I only do it right before advancing to regular season as once I start my franchise, it's my own world. Once you have it set to manual, go to the disabled list and then hit R1/L1 to cycle between DL and roster. On the roster screen, highlight who you want to injure, injury type, and duration. They are plenty to choose from but they have limits to minimum/max days a guy can be inured for.

This made me laugh. And I needed to laugh.
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.
