Re: The Official OS "Challenge of the Week" Competition
It is extremely easy...Last week was one of the hardest and this week is the easiest. This week has easy bonuses as well. You get extra points for just fouling pitches off.
I got 10 million on my first out and I just got bored lol. I don't know how the guy with 300+ million managed to sit there for like 4+ hours with no pausing...
I am ranked 8th at the moment, but felt like I could have done much better. I only managed a few thousand points during the 2nd out.
I think they need to make these challenges more difficult and more based on well you hit the ball. Using contact and fouling off pitches doesn't really show anything but that is just my 2 cents. Nonetheless, it is still good practice and fun.Comment

Re: The Official OS "Challenge of the Week" Competition
They could've when Travis Wood had a 2/3, HR and 4 RBI day. I'm sure another pitcher probably had a good day as well this season. There will probably be other chances if another pitcher does well, but they are rated so low in the game that even the "good" hitting pitchers like Wood aren't that much better than the "terrible" hitting pitchers.Comment

Re: The Official OS "Challenge of the Week" Competition
Yoenis Céspedes vs. Koji Uehara is this week's challenge.
It starts off easy, but once you hit all-star level, Céspedes' cursor gets real tiny. Getting good hits on hall of fame and legend levels is pretty tough.
Also, pray that you don't have to hit in the rain, because the frame rate nosedives when there is rain during this challenge.
Edit: I finally got sunny weather and managed a nice run. I had around 200,000 points with two strikes and two outs, but I managed to build a 75 momentum, 20 hit combo off my final strike.

Re: The Official OS "Challenge of the Week" Competition
Congrats to cardinalbird5 for again taking the top spot! TheRealTweeg still has a relatively comfortable lead in the overall standings, though.
This week's challenge might win the contest for most interesting matchup of names: Koji Uehara vs. Yoenis Cespedes. Good luck!

Yeah this is tough lol.
If the check swing would work properly then I could have gotten 3+ million. I almost want to go to Zone+Analog just so I can check swing better.
I also didn't realize they gave Koji a cutter. That thing was sneaky. But Koji's high H/9 and K/9 and Cespedes semi-low contact vs RHP and Pvis makes the PCI incredibly small on HOF or higher. Playing on legend has definitely allowed me to get used to this though. I will be surprised if the winner this week gets 10+ million. I definitely prefer these challenges over last weeks.

Re: The Official OS "Challenge of the Week" Competition
I'm not sure if it was coincidence... but when i played the last challenge at night, it was under the lights. When I played during the day, it was day time.
Anybody know for sure?I used to put important things hereComment
