I can't see how anyone could get to 100 million on this week's challenge without the aid of some sort of glitch, intentional or unintentional.

The batting cursor gets so small by the time you reach legend difficulty that you're bound to strike out eventually.

Amen. His regular 90 MPH fastball looks like 98 on a high fastball after seeing so many splitters and cutters, lol.

So I think I may know how ppl r doing the high scores illegitimately....if you don't download the roster you`ll face ubaldo Jimenez. ..and I've heard ps3 is way easier....

Which roster are you referring to? I don't download the weekly updates and I've yet to have an issue with the challenge loading correctly.

Tanaka is a beast. It might sound crazy, but I didn't start getting good hits until I hit Legend. Then I rattled off 2 or 3 line drives with 2 fly balls. I think I'm top 10... but that is soon to change I'm sure.

Every week there is some new guy that just comes out of no where and post an insane score.

I just don't get how someone who hasn't ranked in the top 200 this year, hits .260 online, and didn't even hit over .300 last year online in easy mode can come out of no where and get a 127 hit streak lol and take the top score......

It is obvious the got all of their points in one out too, so they probably just got all fastballs or something again. Ugh...feel like I will never ever win at this mode, yet I can win 97% of my online games and constantly finish in the top 5 in DD and online rated.

Has COTW always been like this? Last 2 years it seemed like it was always between 3-4 certain players...Tiptop, DetroitTigers, Bartman, bukktown, t-safari (who I know is a great hitter by facing him online)...this year it is just strange

Don't worry about it man... that's why I created this competition, because I knew I'd never see my name on top of the general leaderboards, but perhaps I could be competitive with fellow OS'ers.

Similarly tough challenge this week just because Tanaka's splitter is nasty.

Had a nice run and got around 600k, good for around 50th. I had a 100k first out, but then scored a 450k second out, with a high momentum of 48, about 14 hits and almost 10,000 in score. The last out I blew it and only got another 100k or so.

Pretty good challenge.

I got 960,000 as SaskatcheWHAT. I still believe though that the ps3 version is easier. Good luck folks. I am hoping to crack top 10 one of these days...

This challenge is pretty easy. Chapman vs Ramirez. Posted a 1.8 and then a 1.9. Almost all of his pitches are the same speed (fast), so unless you make a mistake you can foul off a bunch of pitches. Which if you get 3 balls and 3 fouls you get a 200 X 3 multiplier.
