Can you no longer set ticket prices, advertising, etc. in franchise mode?

I haven't played in a few years and I don't see the option to set stuff like that. Am I missing something or did they take it out?!

Yeah for me it that stuff was the hook for me in Franchise mode as I like to have full control over my team. It def take a lot out of franchise mode for me. So I now focus on my RTTS player.

The features that were taken out had absolutely no true purpose in franchise.
            NHL: Chicago Blackhawks
            NFL: Kansas City Chiefs
            MLB: Kansas City Royals

Shame EA took all that out. They needed to add more depth to the franchise experience, not take more away.

Remember when you could build your stadiums in MVP? Good times

If they actually impact your franchise I would argue they do serve a purpose. Ticket prices should effect attendance, and sponsors should appear in the stadium and prove a source of income. I loved that stuff

I believe that the purposes were just cosmetic. As in the money and profits made from the things like ads and concessions couldn't be put toward free agents IIRC.

That would be awesome though if they were to actually have the ads in the parks.

It sucks that they removed it. Hopefully they will add it back in soon and have it actually an impact on your franchise.

Yeah they took it out, but I am willing to bet a donut that they will return next year.

Why? Because SCEA SD have not hidden the fact that they intend/hope to add the ability to build a stadium and how that would be added to franchise without the financial aspects is beyond me.

But if they do put those features back in they need to do so in a way that is compatible with year to year saves.

Glad they took it out it could get a little taxing.

I'm paraphrasing, but they have said it's on their list of things they'd like to put back, but only if they can do it right.

I miss that ,that was the biggest thing for me . watching my income increase showing how much money I was earning when playing against rivalry. you used to be able to buy bigger planes so your team energy would last longer. dang I was loving this game til then. iam not feeling training sessions either I like to be able to do these things ,not sim though them .CMON THIS IS NEXT GEN!!!!!!!!!!

I just used it to manipulate attendance mostly. Fans are way too easy on teams in this game. After the initial rush of sellouts and big crowds for the first few home games, if you're below .500 your stadium should be half-empty at best. Five games or more below .500, bang, right away the place should look 15 or 20% full. I had awful starts where I'd come out of gate 5-12 and the like and would still be bringing in crowds that looked like the place was 85% full. That's ridiculous. I've seen Yankee games where they had a winning record and the place was more than half-empty. Detroit draws but they don't draw like that.

So I upped the price to where I was drawing more in line with what I wanted.

Anyway, now that it's gone (I was just looking for this option today in fact), I'm back to having crowds be kinda sorta too big lol, but it's okay. I played Minnesota and the place was like totally empty three games in a row, very cool, just wish I could get some of those at my place. :P
