    Fantasy draft CPU draft logic

Out of town at the moment so haven't had a chance to play the game. Just been perusing this site like a crack whore trying to get my fix. During this brutal waiting period I've been contemplating doing a franchise draft.

Could someone that has done a fantasy draft tell me how the CPU draft logic is? Is it the same order every draft? Does Kershaw go #1 or are players drafted according to team identities?

    Thanks for any insight

Been here lol. I wish I could post pics I would help but ....

    Osfm

Kershaw goes 1st. Trout is #3 or 4 if not 2. Stanton is available in the 3rd. My draft with the 24th pick went like:

    #1 Jay Bruce
    #2 Andrelton Simmons
    #3 Giancarlo Stanton
#4,5,6 were something like Manny Machado , starling marte an Andrew Cashner.
#7 and on gets hazy. I wanna say Jedd Gyorko
    #8 , 9 Kyle Zimmer Antonio bastardo

Ended with these guys Jaime Garcia , wie yen Chen , Tijuana walker , Wellington Castillo

      Cool. Much appreciated.

I'm a little disappointed that the draft is done from a template. Would be awesome if each team drafted to a specific identity. It is what it is though. No biggie.

Where are the prospects from osfm drafted and rated? Polanco and Taveras for example?

Tavernas is 82 actually. Whoever did the cardinals was a fanboy tho. I live in StL and understand the hype machine that we have awesome talent in the minors because we have so much talent at the mlb level so it's held back. But every minor leaguer is rated awesome. Polanco is decent I forget tho.

There's some style to the teams. Kershaw and trout jus fit on any team lol. The whitesox had Chris Sale and the tigers have wainwright and wacha I believe. We have only played 3 games.

The top notch talent is grabbed. My cousin drafted Alvarez in 3rd round. I took Bruce in the 1st. I thought both were reaches.

Offline fantasy drafts are much better than online fantasy drafts, for whatever reason.

Lol. My bad. Kershaw would fit any teams strategy. So reading some of your posts it does look like the draft is not cookie cutter. That's good to hear. Yadi Molina went #1? Wow....

CPU definitely drafts from a template. A couple guys like Stanton, JUpton, and Braun slip too far (3rd-4th) and there is still the one round of all relievers (8th?)
