    Tanaka

Why does Tanaka stink in the Show. His ratings are terrible, and his splitter isn't even his highest rated pitch. In realitiy he has one of the best splitters in the world.

If you think that Tanaka's splitter is the best there ever was, you must be pretty new to baseball. If you don't agree with ratings, change them yourself.

He didn't say his splitter, "is the best there ever was." He said it was one of the best, and a lot of people in the game would agree with that.

There have been multiple MLB guys who have faced Tanaka who stated that his split is one of the best they have ever seen. Are you new to baseball?

I pitched a complete game shutout, w/ 11 Ks against the Red Sox with Tanaka....9 of 11 Ks on the Split...

              Looked good to me.

Note: Played on All-Star w/ Pulse Pitching using TNKG sliders which has CPU Contact at 7.

He got my 1st win in my Franchise. Stopped the bleeding for me.
                I've done good with him.

I agree that his splitter should be his highest rated pitch. As he does have one of the best splitters in the game. I've played a few games pitching with him and the first game I got rocked. I thought the same thing that they messed up his ratings. But after the next few games pitching with him I've done much better. 2 shut outs and one was only allowing 2 hits. I haven't adjusted any settings or player ratings. I'd say that the devs did a pretty accurate job, although his splitter could be a little better. (atleast make it his best pitch)

Go to the Roster Vault - I uploaded a perfect Tanaka last night built off of the OSFM one (adjusted his nose, hair, build, windup and pitches).

He is now a 96 overall, which i dont think is unreasonable, given that he is 4-0 with a 2.53 ERA to start his MLB Career and is among the league leaders in K's and K/BB, and has gone into at least the 7th in every start.

Simming with him in my franchise, though, and he is 7-5 with a 3.74 ERA in July.

My PSN name is The-Hateball - file was uploaded last night.

                      Flaxseed it looks good.
Do you think he needs a little more of a double chin? (I know he isnt fat but he has this like chin neck connection going that almost looks like a double chin) and a wider head?

I did not download so it might look better in the game, but his head looks a little small compared to real life.

But it looks like him, definitely 100 times better than what I or SCEA came up with.

This may be silly, but can you upload one player from the Vault to the existing rosters?

                        TIA!

I know you can export single players and then insert them into an existing (different) roster. So yep.
Just can't insert them into an already started franchise.

One of the problems I see in the game is ratings based off limited stats, and that includes rookies, players given super ratings. Tanaka is very good, but in my opinion, definitely not a 96. 2.53 ERA is good, so what about Yordano Ventura with his 2.00 ERA? Yes, he pitched some last year but is only 22, Tanaka is 25, and Ventura is still considered a rookie. Wanna make Ventura a 98?

It's not even halfway through the season!

Did Ventura go 24-0 with a 1.27 ERA last year in what was essentially AAA?
