    A few questions about RTTS

    Hey all first question is:

    1. Do I get any points for "fast forward" through fielding or do I have to play?

    2. It seems like when I always do really well, I get picked in the 1st round, 3rd pick and it's always the White Sox.

I have literally played EVERY position except pitcher in RTTS in Showcase and I always get picked by the White Sox. This ruins the mode for me because it's not realistic to always get taken in the 1st round 3rd pick by the SAME team.

Do I just need to purposely suck so I get picked in the 2nd or 3rd rounds?

I created many players on the PS3 version and I went to multiple teams in various rounds. My current player went thrid overall to the White Sox. I wonder if it has anything to do with the region you choose. I chose the Midwest region and wondered if that played into which team chooses you.

      To answer your questions:

      1. Fast-forwarding through playing the field will not earn you points. I skip this part as well and after checking post-game stats, I don't get the points for putouts, assists, etc.

      2. You don't have to "suck" to get drafted by another team. There is an option to select your team beforehand and you'll go through the draft until you get picked by the team you selected. As another option, can try the "go back to school" route to see if something changes.

As far as region goes for teams likely to draft you, I've had a mix of everything. Been from the west region and was drafted by AZ, SF, Cubs, Boston, Detroit, White Sox, and Blue Jays. Looking through the roster after draft, it seems more likely that they included a small factor for positional need into the draft logic as I have never been drafted by a team with a surplus of young talent at my position.
