Re: What kind of TV are you playing The Show on?

I have my PS4 Pro hooked up to a XBR43X800D set.

The Sony X800D is a 4k LED TV with good picture quality. It performs well in dark rooms due to the good native contrast. It handles motion very well, with little...

Picked it up in December from Best Buy for about $600 . Definitely enjoying HDR and 4k on the set. Looking forward to seeing MLB The Show 17 running on it in a couple of weeks.

Yes, I set them both to RGB full. I remember testing out both limited and full when I got it, switching back and forth, and both looked great so I just went with full

Got it. Not sure how BenQ monitor settings change such things, but can you do me a favor and see if there is any kind of display mode difference you can change that would be between something like:

        Full / Limited
        RGB / YUV
        Normal / Low
        Wide / Off

        etc.

If you have a set of separate options like this (you may need the PS4 on when provided the option and not being grayed out from it), switch to any of the "left" settings I posted above and not the right. This will activate it on there as well.

It's like if your set-top-box was set to feed HD content but your television was in some sort of SD mode. You want to make sure they cooperate and agree.

If there is no such setting, then one of two things are also possible: either it automatically defaults to it, or your monitor isn't capable of it (which is highly unlikely that it wouldn't be).

Mind posting your model number? I'd like to look into it for personal reasons.

This is my desktop, it is one of the few models (I think) that cae with the detachable input controller (pictured here)

It is no longer top of the line by any stretch and pales in comparison to new IPS and TN panels as far as color gamut and whatnot but still has a nice crisp image and best in class input time and response time

Awesome! Okay, find this menu option:

Make sure RGB (0~255) is selected if you're using Full Range RGB on PS4.

I fully acknowledge that perceived picture improvement is more important for some people than measured picture improvement, so if you were on 16-235 to begin with and you decide that it looks better on 16-235 (just know that if you use that you are indeed crushing blacks and clipping whites), then stick with it. It does defeat the purpose of using the PS4 display option though.

55 inch KS6300 Samsung 4K with standard PS4. Don't have any need to upgrade with Pro just yet unless impressions from other users say it so that is best option.

I experience zero lag, horizon and 2k have HDR and I also experience zero lag. It is an incredible tv but at a price.
