Been holding off on 4K, but I'm buying this, probably in June, or when there is a decent sale.

Sony XBR49X900E 49-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV

I was set to get the KS8000, but they are getting hard to find at 49". And really, we have a small front room, and the wife already thinks our 40" Toshiba is mammoth. I finally agreed to stick wit the 49" or 50" TVs, as the 55"'s would hand over our current TV stand. It wouldn't have bothered me, it helped sell the wife.

The 900e reviews almost as god as the KS8000, and better in some respects. But it is also black and has a fantastic stand. The new Samsungs are ridiculously expensive, so it looks like Sony for now.

I don't have a PS4 yet, but it's coming for The Show, although that might wait a month or two, also. But wit that TV, I think I have to go with the PS4 Pro. I have an XB1, but I can't decide if I should get an S, or just wait for Scorpio. but I'm really looking forward to FH3 in HDR.

The PS4 Pro does a good job of utilizing a good 4K/HDR set, at least for gaming. I haven't really touched my One S since I got the Pro, other than for UltraHD bluray every now and then. I'd hold off for the Scorpio. And the Pro is less of a hassle to game on than my PC, on my 4K TV, so it's kinda become my go-to in that respect. (I still do most of my gaming on PC, though. Cant take that 21:9 and 100fps for granted now. LOL) Even the upscaled checkerboard 4K looks really great. Other than a slightly softer image, it's more comparable to the IQ I get on my PC than I expected. I've been extremely happy with it. Plus, you get those sweet Sony exclusives.

Got the ps4 pro and a 55inch Samsung ks8000 with hdr10 that I 4got around Xmas time 2016. Its amazing. In a 2k17 looks amazing. Can't wait to see the show in 4k and her.

I have the 65 oled b6 and have been playing the show 17 since Friday night... I didn't think it was possible for this game to look this good.. the inky blacks on this tv really blow me away especially in night games on 17. If u have the means to go oled you will not be sorry.. this game looks amazing in high framerate mode and you won't believe how unreal it gets in enhanced graphics and 4k mode.. blown away!

I just got around to playing Horizon last night and I was floored game looks incredible, can't for for min to play the show in 4K!!!!!

Yeah.....I just fired up MLB16 and pulled the first 3 balls foul. I thought my last tv was smooth, now I know how low input lag adds to the game experience.

I played '16 last night to get my timing right for '17...man, I was on everything. I played for like 2 hours straight in RttS. There was zero input lag. I do love my KS8500. Looking forward to midnight. I'll be playing for a while (and it will be my birthday lol) before I have to go to work.

I got a ps4 pro a few months ago and just bought the Sony x800d 43 inch 4K tv with HDR. I've been playing Horizon on it the past 2 weeks and I absolutely love it so far. Can't wait to get the Show 17 on there.

Just going to be playing on a Samsung 1080p tv for right now. I really like the Samsung KS8000 model and am hoping it will be cheaper later on this year so I can pick one up.

Not gonna get any cheaper. It's been discontinued at this point. 2017 models are rolling in now.

Yep. I'm looking for the best deal in June. If you want to time the market, it's June, then November through February.

It seems almost perfect.

If I ever get over my love for PC monitors, the KS8000 or its successor will be my TV of choice

I've heard nothing but positives but just can't justify a purchase at the moment. If I can find one for around $800 I will.
