    That's what a guy who works at Best Buy told me as well. I mean I suppose you could maybe hope for a sale that might lower the price some but I have seen the price actually go up on the Samsung KS8500.

    I bought mine at Costco for $1597 about 3 weeks or a month ago and it now lists for $1797.

      That's the main reason I've moved on from the KS8000. I want a 49" screen, and I think the Sony's XBR49X900E is the spiritual successor to that TV. So I'm waiting for Father's Day to grab one.

      They have it in 55", 65", and 75", too. They run for about what the KS8000's did when they came out last year.

      More TVs may come out, and I will keep checking rtings.com, but right now, that's my sweet spot.

        78 inch Samsung UHD 4K tv with a new Evolution Kit with HDR and that new hdmi stuff.

          Yeah I don't think waiting is going to do any good for getting a better deal, in fact it may go the way of some of my previous electronics where the longer you wait the higher the price goes due to a demand and supply has ended.
