Lack Of Extra Base Hits

I'm using timing hitting, use normal contact most of the time, contact sometimes, and power never. If that matters.

I have had 1 extra base hit in about 5 games. I don't see any hits in the gap, down the line, or over an outfielders head. I don't see any from the CPU for that matter either.

I realize with zone hitting you could "aim" your hit, but I'm not good enough at batting, hence timing hitting. Are other people seeing this? What can be done about it?
