I don't disagree, but then we keep hearing things from the developers or whatever saying that this isn't like that time. Whether it's marketing hype or whatever they mean semantically is one thing, but I wasn't content on buying an MLB game for PS3 until The Show '09. I didn't get a PS3 until summer 2008, and I might hold off on the PS4 for the same amount of time. I'm just not ready for next-gen while they're getting the kinks worked out from their first couple of games, and honestly I don't think this game was ready either. I'm sure it's a fine game and all, but it's really not indicative of their bright future on the new console IMO.
Of course, there are some design decisions that would need to change as well for it to really be what it should be, if I'm going to be perfectly honest. There are some things since MLB '09 that I have been hoping to change that simply haven't yet, and I'm not sure how much it has to do with hardware limitations. Maybe someday...
