It's the same for me - after 17 games on the PS4 version, the Rizz is hitting .413 - 4 HRs - 18RBI - 8 walks. In the PS3 version of this years game he was hitting .312 - 16HRs - 52RBI - 19 walks - this was done over the course of 57 games.

I don't have the game yet. Can someone post the hitting attributes for the Cubs' players? Power/Contact

Re: For those using bad teams.

Using the Cubs as well in my franchise, and I'm having difficulty scoring as well. But then I watch the actual Cubs, and they can't score either, so I feel it's pretty realistic.

I'm using Mo/A&S's sliders and getting good results. The team is actually playing much better offensively when I sim than when I play myself. I scored 4 runs the other night against the Padres on 11 hits and it felt like an offensive explosion.

I just keep telling myself that it'll get better once the prospects develop... hopefully that's right

Let's put it this way. I'm pretty sure Castro is the highest rated hitter on the team and he's an 82 overall. Most of the players are 65-78.

I just want to see their individual attributes. Overall doesn't necessarily mean they are a bad/good hitter. Curious to see Rizzo's contact/power, along with guys like Barney, Castro, Lake, Castillo, Olt etc.

Curious to see who has power over 60 and whatnot.

I'm a veteran of The Show but this year seems more difficult than ever for me to generate runs. I'm curious for anyone else using the Cubs, or maybe the Astros (basically a really bad team), are you having trouble scoring?

I really don't mind this if it's just the fact that my players suck. Because it will be fun to rebuild and see my team become better at offense over time. However, if I eventually get some quality hitters and I'm still going game after game without an extra base hit and going two, three, or even five games without scoring a run I'm going to start thinking that it's not my hitters but perhaps some kind of game mechanic.

I know there's been threads before about low-scoring games and I have to say that I feel that this year it is more difficult than ever to score. For the record I play on Hall of Fame for pitching and All-Star for hitting.
Playing on Hof too and with the good ole Cubbies and just yesterday I had my season high 7 runs in 11 innings and its may 4th. I had only scored 5 runs once throughout April. I also have noticed an uptick in hr's the last few games so i don't know if you just need warmer weather. I'm currently 11 - 18. I have a 3.40 era but only batting .225 with a .288 obp as a team. My problem though is I don't strikeout, I can't hit but I always seem to put the ball in play. Even after turning the pitch speed up 2 notches I only average about 4-5 k's a game. Hitting does feel harder than last year as last year I was above .500 with the Cubs.

On a different topic..is Wrigley still brown in April? The Ivy always used to turn green on may 15th. Since I was on the ps3 my first Cubs game with the ps4 was May 1st. So I don't know if they moved the date the ivy turned green up or if there is no brown Ivy at Wrigley anymore.

Off the top of my head(don't quote me). The DEFAULT scea rosters had

                Barney low 60 con
Castro mid 70 con low 40 pow
                Lake low 50 pow, 60 con vs R, 70 vs L
Rizzo mid 60 pow, mid 40 con vs L
                Castillo 70 con vs L
                Rugiano 70+ vs L

Also don't know about other Cubs fans but in the Show give Luis Valbuena a shot for me he's always .250 ba with some pop but most importantly I always seem to walk a ton with him almost as much as Rizzo. IDK why maybe his batting stance but in case you guys are struggling with Olt.

It is green all the time I believe. I transfered my franchised from PS3 to PS4 and I was in the 3rd week of the season and the ivy had already grown in on PS4, so I think it's green permanently.

I started platooning him and Olt a few weeks ago, but now Valbuena is the everyday starter as he's hitting almost .300 for me while Olt is under .220.

Have you ever seen a roster in which all the teams are evenly matched? This would allow players to enjoy the team branding, uniforms, stadiums, etc., and not be punished for picking the Cubs. At the same time, only a command of baseball fundamentals and strategy will lead you to victory.

I'm playing with the Cubs as well and hitting a whopping .210 this season. My record is something like 5-15. We are bad!

Im 5-8 with the Cubs using dynamic difficulty, Ive been shutout a few times and had double digit runs in a few games. As you can see I'm all over the spectrum. With dynamic difficulty I cannot justify playing on higher levels all the time when neither me or the team I use merit doing so.

I can handle losing, but it is not fun at all not scoring a single run for 3-4 games. Im not too prideful to say i use dynamic difficulty, I think you should try it out.

My Cubs team is hopeless. We are 5-25 now. I play the first game of each series and then player lock Rizzo for the rest of the series. We are so bad that I'm thinking of just sticking with Rizzo and rushing through the first season as we are going nowhere fast and then playing properly in Season 2. We'll see.
