Am I missing something? Im nearly 30 games in to my franchise and only have the injuries that have happened to my team and an injury that happened to the CPU in a game with me, other then that not another single injury anywhere else in the league. Surely there has to be a way to use 2 different profiles for 30 team control and still have injuries for everyone but the way you worded this it would lead me to believe that Im going to have to pick one or the other in regards to who has injuries, me or the rest of the league.
Okay... For one, if you want injuries (for you or CPU teams) DO NOT use the beginner profile unless you edit it. The beginner profile has injuries turned OFF.

So if you set your team, or the cpu teams, to use the default Beginner profile in your franchise injuries will not happen.

This is what I do: I create 2 custom profiles to use in my Franchises.

Profile 1: Based on the "Experienced" profile, I set to the settings I want for my team. I save it, rename it to "Main" and set it as my default. Any games I play myself will use this profile.

Profile 2: Also based on the "Experienced" profile. Since I'm not actually playing games with this profile, the Game Settings don't matter. What does matter is the Mode Specific settings. Here, I change all the Franchise related options to Auto, so the CPU will manage them itself.

I save it and rename it to frCPU.

When I start my franchise, I make my team(s) use my profile, and then make the other remaining teams use the frCPU profile. That way injuries are on for the whole league, but I only have to manage them on my team. The CPU manages the other teams.

    **WARNING**

Not sure if this has been reported as a bug, but I have recently discovered that if you join one of the demo games you will lose the settings for your default profile. It will reset everything to the default options. This includes resetting DD.

That makes sense now. In the PS3 version I had a different profile (possibly experienced, I can't remember) selected and I did see injuries to my players. I play MoM games, but when I installed the PS4 version, I thought maybe if time permits I can try RTTS and since I would be a beginner in controlling the players I specifically selected the Beginner profile when I installed the game and in the three weeks of playing the PS4 iteration I have yet to see an injury in any of my MoM games (injuries do occur in the other simmed games across the league).

      Thanks for the 411.

Yeah I was finally able to fire up the game and went in to the profile I had set for the other 29 teams and injuries were off since it was created off the Beginner profile. I ended up just creating a new one based off the experienced profile, deleted the other one, went back in to my franchise and changed everything away from "my" profile and to the new profile so should have no issues going forward with injuries. I just thought the CPU was getting really lucky lol, apparently injuries were off for them and I never thought to check that and for whatever reason completely missed the area where you can create a new user profile.

          Yikes.

I think that might warrant a bug report.

Even if that's intentional, they should at least give us a warning.

Yeah, I've done it three times now to confirm it's happening.

how does this work in Online Franchise? I am 12 games into a season and the only injuries suffered by any team league wide are the ones that occur in my own games...

                Re: Injuries?

Playing a game injury slider on 8 i just ended up having 2 injuries the same inning. One a shoulder on Willingham (Twins) during defense, ran after gap shot tried to catch but missed and threw to cutoff man. Next inning Flaherty (O's) injured leg slightly running/sliding to 2nd base on a sac bunt w/ runners on 1st and 2nd. This was all in the 6th inning.

Franchise mode, Same injury slider on 8, I've played 2 spring training games no injuries at all. Even more surprising only 3 injuries so far league wide after 4 days worth of spring training games, 2 of them minor injuries at that.

                Torii Hunter (Broken Shin)
                Alex Avila (Strained Forearm)
Some Relief Pitcher of the Rays (Broken Nail)

I am not. Is that even possible in online franchise?

My bad, completely misread that as saying offline not online.

I played about 14 games in my franchise with it on 6 and saw no in game injuries, put it on 7 and the 1st game the mariners SP (young i think) hurt his shoulder in the 3rd. will keep it on 7 and see how often injuries occur.

I believe I have it on 6 currently and didnt notice much of a difference between 6 and 7, last game Haren took a line drive off his leg and left the game with a minor injury. Having said that, dont dare go to 8, I had it on there for approx. the first 10 games of the season and lost both Puig and Crawford for 1-2 months with 2 more minor injuries all within a 10 game period.
