Okay... For one, if you want injuries (for you or CPU teams) DO NOT use the beginner profile unless you edit it. The beginner profile has injuries turned OFF.
So if you set your team, or the cpu teams, to use the default Beginner profile in your franchise injuries will not happen.
This is what I do: I create 2 custom profiles to use in my Franchises.
Profile 1: Based on the "Experienced" profile, I set to the settings I want for my team. I save it, rename it to "Main" and set it as my default. Any games I play myself will use this profile.
Profile 2: Also based on the "Experienced" profile. Since I'm not actually playing games with this profile, the Game Settings don't matter. What does matter is the Mode Specific settings. Here, I change all the Franchise related options to Auto, so the CPU will manage them itself.
I save it and rename it to frCPU.
When I start my franchise, I make my team(s) use my profile, and then make the other remaining teams use the frCPU profile. That way injuries are on for the whole league, but I only have to manage them on my team. The CPU manages the other teams.
**WARNING**
Not sure if this has been reported as a bug, but I have recently discovered that if you join one of the demo games you will lose the settings for your default profile. It will reset everything to the default options. This includes resetting DD.
