I would assume I should always have enough money to at least sign my draft picks. I'm not certainly not about to give SCEA money to increase my budget in a video game, but maybe that is their intention.

Signing Draft Picks
I'm attempting to sign draft picks in the first year of my Franchise but my available budget is showing up as -349,938 when my total budget is 120,000,000 and I only have a player payroll of 104,224,938. I'm not sure where else I can view my budget or income statement to determine what is putting me in the red and preventing me from signing my draft picks. I have plenty of contracts that are set to expire and come off the books for next season. Any advice on where I can view my entire budget breakdown or what could be causing this?

I think usually when you're over-budget it's from the players you offered arbitration to in the offseason. Set your contracts to AUTO in game mode options and the CPU will sign most of the draft picks automatically on the day after the draft.
I find myself turning this off and on intermittently throughout the off-season since it takes forever to sign every player. -

Re: Signing Draft Picks
I found a work around for now by firing all my scouts and hiring the cheapest replacement possible, I wont be doing any scouting until the beginning of next season. This freed up around 4 million in budget. I would still like to see a breakdown of my budget somewhere and cant find one. It's Surprising if they removed this considering how heavily their Franchise mode used to be financially based.Green Bay Packers | Milwaukee Bucks | Milwaukee BrewersComment
