Do Hot/Cold Zones Change over time?

As you play a season and franchise, will a players hot/cold zones change? For example, I'm using the Mets and d'Arnaud has pretty much a cold zone in every possible spot vs rightys (haven't faced a LHP so not sure on them). However, he is hitting nearly .400 through the first two weeks. If he continues to hit well, will I see those zones eventually go neutral or become hot zones?

I've always wondered this as well.

Yes they do, in my franchise with Soriano I was cold up and in to start. 10 games in and I was now cold mid inside as well as up and inside .

        Wow that's fantastic news!

They've never changed before and I've asked for it every year. Thank you SCEA!

Haven't looked on other players too fully confirm, but I couldve sworn I seen it change with Alfonso, as I like to use player lock a lot with him as new yorks dh.

The in game ones have always been dynamic, the ones on the select screen have always been static.

Thanks for clearing that up and it makes sense since I've always turned that stuff off in game.

So for me there is no way (short of enabling the zones) to see what the dynamic zones are?

When we were at CD a while back we asked for preview (like MVP) where it would just show up once at the beginning of an at bat. Unfortunately it is tied to the strike zone so if you have the zone off you can't have preview. We were hoping to have preview even if you had the zone off. So you can have preview but the zone has to be on.
