I traded Neftali Feliz and Luke Jackson for Stanton.

Re: I thought the trade logic was fixed?
There is something wrong with the trade value of relief pitchers. I'm seeing trade offers of 2 A Potential prospects for an 80s rated RP. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if the game was designed that way, but it's really bad.Comment

Re: I thought the trade logic was fixed?
I know trade logic is a tough thing to nail down. There are so many variables, so many things that the CPU needs to be able to "understand".
But this...
...this just can't happen. Ever. No excuse for it. Joe Mauer... Minnesota hometown hero, was hitting .298 with 8 homers and 51 RBI. Was traded for a 61 OVERALL RATED RELIEF PITCHER. Target Field would be burned to the ground if that happened in real life.
I would love to see trade logic addressed in a patch. It sucks to basically have to turn it off in order to be able to stomach playing franchise mode.Ryan Spencer

Re: I thought the trade logic was fixed?
That's what I've been seeing too. It's got to be a glitch.. something in the code that makes RP's way too valuable in the trade algorithmComment

Re: I thought the trade logic was fixed?
I literally decline almost every trade in my OF. The mariners and brewers do the same trade every ingame day which is getting annoying. Lucroy for Seager and SmoakComment

I wouldn't expect this type of thing to ever be perfect. It's based on human thought patterns. Maybe you should try programming it and pitch it to them.Do it. (Release The Show for PC)Comment

Re: I thought the trade logic was fixed?
It does get really annoying. I tried manually changing some teams' trading block but that didn't seem to help as they just made similarly awful trades with different players.Comment

Re: I thought the trade logic was fixed?
The worst I've seen so far is Todd Redmond and Colby Rasmus for Oscar Taveras (OS roster). I want to turn of trades but don't want teams to all look almost exactly the same five years in.Comment

Re: I thought the trade logic was fixed?
The trade discussion thread here has some good info on values and guys that would be traded in different situations. I'm going to go through teams starting July 1 and figure out some trades that make sense. It'll take time, but it's worth it in the end.Comment

Care to explain that one to me

I swear, Colby Rasmus is always part of some insane deal. He's the quintessential CPU ace-in-the-hole.Comment
