Imagine if you could, I don't know, say... pick your own weather. Problem solved.

I still don't understand why they FORCE you to wear long sleeves in cold weather. There is no reason why after this many years and the PS2, PS3, AND now the PS4 that this hasn't been corrected.

One of the most mind boggling things in video game history.

I mean come on, baseball is a warm weather sport, it's about warm summer nights. If anything the weather in the game should be warm in night games in April and May. Just get rid of cold weather if you cant make it properly work.

In the real world, it's May 14th, and last night in Kansas City the Royals played Colorado. It was 43 degrees, and they had on long sleeves. Seems about right to me...

Is there a way to check the game temperature and wind, and if so, how? In a few cases I've seen it display the temperature at the start of a game in a overlay but not often (I am also mostly playing RTTS so maybe that's a reason).

Same thing for wind - I never really see (or notice?) any report on the wind and have to try and gauge it myself by looking at the flags.

It's freezing in Boston the past few days. Night time has been in the 40's. Weather.com has night time lows in the 40's for Pittsburgh.

                I don't see why it's unrealistic.

I don't understand why they haven't linked the temperatures to what they actually are in that city at that time. I don't think it would be difficult to have the game hit a weather server, put the temperature value ( from the city being played in ) into a variable, then pass the variable to the game.

They could even link the could cover like that.

Because it makes too much sense. LOL. Pretty sure NCAA Football and Madden have had a feature like that for years. The game is online anyway, how hard could it be to have at least "somewhat" realistic temps and conditions based on the real cities.

It's been 85 and 90 the past 2 days in Pittsburgh, im just saying it's ridiculous to have cold nights in Summer sport game. They should keep cold until like mid May then start 70 degree nights and so on

40's to low 50's in St. Louis for the next 5 days, so it's really not unrealistic to have long sleeves in May. The avg high around here in May is 75 for the day and 50 at night. I agree with the above posts about games being linked to weather.com

The issue isn't that it can be cold on those nights (I agree it certainly can be, even going into mid-summer), the issue is that it is almost always cold in The Show at night in northern cities.

Beyond that, people are tired of seeing absolutely every player in long sleeves for many of those games as well. A choice in the matter is all most of us are asking for here.
