And he came out of the game with an injury! There was even a cut scene showing the coaching staff helping him off the field. I know we've been asking for this for awhile now and it was great to see it was added in. Kudos to SCEA!

Oh by the way, no Aaron Harang's were harmed in the making of this post or the playing of The Show.

I thought this has been present for a couple of years now?

Anyway, sometimes the injury does not correspond to the play. I hit a pitcher in the shin and he had to come out with an arm injury.

In my past experience, there had always been an animation/cut scene where the pitcher would hobble around but end up staying in the game. Maybe it was just me...

This one was really well-done, however, as text pops up saying how serious the injury was followed by a cut scene. It certainly made it seem more dramatic anyway

Interesting. I remember in years past lining balls off pitchers during the game and a cutscene would play and Matt would mention the trainers coming out to check on the pitcher, but the pitcher never leaving the game afterward.

Yea they fixed it this year but we don't need a separate thread on it since it's been discussed for awhile in the impressions thread (among other threads) for awhile now.
