Players fatigue too fast?
Does anyone else find position players fatigue way too fast? After playing 4 games in a row half my roster is tired, and resting them a day often only brings up their level half way, Some players play nearly every game in a season, is there a way to adjust this slightly? I never saw a fatigue slider anywhere,Tags: None -

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
I don't know that they fatigue too quickly, but I rarely pay attention to when the game prompts me to make a lineup change due to fatigue. The only position that I really switch on "regular" basis is catcher. Outside of that, I only make changes when someone is fatigued and they are on a cold streak. Then I may rest them a day to see if that can get them out of the slump.Comment

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
Well thats disappointing, this is a really big oversight, at this rate I'll have to sit some players ever 4-5 games, missing 1 fifth of the season that's assinine.Comment

I don't have this issue. If you need to just edit the players durability rating

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
Durability is one of the most important aspects for me when it comes to acquiring and keeping players. Also, players fatigue at different levels based on the positions they play. I also tend to have a rotating DH so as to give players regular days off to ensure that my quality bats stay in the lineup. But I do agree that a player with durability in the 90's should be able to play significantly more games in a row before needing to sub them out. How am I going to have a guy take a run at Cal?? Re: Players fatigue too fast?
I've seen the "suggestion" that I should rest Mark Teixeira for the last 4 games, but in those 4 games he has 8 hits including 3 homers, 3 doubles and 7 RBI's. I don't think I'll be resting him just yet.Comment

This is good to know. I always assumed if that message popped up your players ratings dropped until they were less fatigued and, therefore, would not perform well.Comment

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
The only thing I've found when players are fatigued and are suggested to be given a rest is that their chance of getting injured goes up.Comment

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
I did get a notice to rest Molina in a game where he ended up getting injured. Thankfully he was only day to day with a bruised arm.Comment

You're lucky. I once pitched one of my starters a bit too long and he tore his labrum haha. This was in 13 though.Comment

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
I have not had this problem. So far it seems to be well balanced.
Playing a tired guy greatly increases the likelihood of injury so be careful.
Oh and I never liked the some guys play every game argument. It may be true but most guys take days off.Comment

Re: Players fatigue too fast?
I just started my franchise but I don't buy into resting players just because their energy bar isn't near enough 100 %. Rest only comes on occasions when I truly need to pull a player, or start someone off the bench. Or if the game gives me a prompt from assistant coaches or players directly saying I need a break.Red LegendComment
