For all the scoring people out there should this play be an error or not?

I would say no because it was a rocket shot right at him and they give some leeway on those sometimes. Also he didn't touch it.

No. That usually isn't an error.

But, if the scorekeeper was in a bad mood or wanted to keep a no-hitter intact, then it could be counted as one.

Yeah, as hard as that was hit, it's gotta be ruled a base hit.

Ok thanks guys it was ruled a hit. I guess im just a little more strict in my thinking. I thought it should be an error
