hiding the strike zone only when batting?

Is there a way to hide the strike zone when batting, but still show it when pitching? The only way I know to hide it is in the general section, which hides it for both. I love batting with off, it's really helped me see the ball better, but I just can't pitch very well with it off.

In the setting I'm using, which may be the default, when batting the strike zone is shown as the picture sets, but when he goes into motion it disappears. Is that what you want or you already have it like that and want it gone completely?

I do not believe so. It's either on or off.
I just leave it off. If I want a quick glance at the K zone when batting I click the right stick. (Think it's the right stick)

Yeah, I think that's the default when it's on, but when batting I want it to either fade away several seconds earlier or be completely off. Half the time the pitcher's glove is partially obscured by the top of the strike zone as it's fading and I find it a bit distracting while trying to pick up the ball.

It's the Left stick (L3), or you can hold R2 as if you were going to guess the pitch or location.

Yep. Couldn't remember. If I had controller in hand I'd probably know lol
I turn GP off so that isn't an option for me.

Does L3 let you see past pitches like R2 when guess pitch is on? I don't use guess pitch, but I like being able to see the strike zone and where past pitches have landed.

Thanks! It works for batting and pitching so I'm able to hide the strike zone and still be able to take a peek at it while pitching (Not sure if I'll like it, but I think it'll make it realistically harder to hit the corners.), but I think I would still like separate options for batting and pitching.
