With Dymanic potential this year I find it more beneficial to draft better players with lower potentials than worse players with higher potentials.

A guy who 40 contact who is 21 with 99 potential will be tough to fill his potential while a guy who has 65 contact and his 21 with 85 potential can move his potential up to a 90 easily.

Well I am in 2017 (simulating of course) with the Cubbies. In my first year I drafted an absolute stud CF (James Mota 99 POT). Right now he is 93 overall with really nice stats (94 contact R and 80 + for Contact L and Power R+L). I just entered June and he is batting .353 with 16 homeruns.

In 2015 draft I drafted another 99 Potential SS (Nolan Blair). He is currently 85 overall (will be coming up later this season)

With that being said this years draft was very weak. The top guys who were 90+ POT all had ETAs 2023+

So I find it pretty cool some drafts are strong while others are weak.

Very nice to see. What pick did you have to get the guy in 2015?
My favorite teams are better than your favorite teams

I can't remember the exact spot but I know it was a top 5 pick.

Im using the White Sox and in year 1 I drafted a RF Ryan Hammond with the #3 pick, 74 ovr with 97 potential and only 18 years old. He also came in with 72 contact R 67 contact L 70+ Power R+L and 81 Speed.
