I haven't been able to make a diving catch or even a diving stop on a grounder this year. I made many in previous versions. I'm wondering if its even possible this year? Anyone done it? Have a clip? It always seems to just outreach my glove.

I use auto fielding and they seem to dive occasionally and it looks really well done. I use the braves so Jason Heyward is pretty damn good in the field as is BJ Upton. -

Yeah I am sure auto fielding works because the cpu has robbed me numerous times. I should have been more specific. Has anyone that uses manual fielding made a diving catch? Or a diving stop on an infield ground ball?Comment

I'm having the complete opposite experience. I have made several diving stop in the infield this year. I have more this year, then I have in all previous versions combined. Im loving fielding this year. This is on dynamic cam. On broadcast I just cant judge these plays the same.Comment

I just made an incredible one in my RTTS:

And yes, I got damn excited about it. Like I said, it's the first one of those I've ever made in an RTTS. If you listen closely you can probably even hear me pull the right trigger for the dive.

I"ve had a few on the infield and one in the OF. It is definitely hit and miss though.
I find jumping to be harder though and haven't got one of those yet. There really isn't a camera angle that allows us a close enough view of the OFer to time and gauge the OF wall jump attempts.Comment

I made a few shoestring catches, rolling to the ground afterward - which is pretty cool. As for dives I always seem to mistime them..ball gets pass me then I dive
