    Do any of you restore injured players from the Minors to the Bigs?

    I love the Braves and can't stand to play without Venters and Medlen so I restore them to the MLB roster to use them


    Am I the only guy who does this?


    Also, if you do this as well, do you feel a little guilty youre leaving out a current player or two who actually is playing right now?


    Ive got mixed feelings and I want to iron them out before I start my Franchise or Season

      For the CPU, I let them use whomever they want after Spring Training.

      I do the same. Except I have two rules:

      1. No A-Rod.
      2. If a star player was hurt or suspended for the majority of or all of the year in real life before the season and the team signed a star player specifically to replace them, I don't just allow both players to be on the team. For instance, last year it seemed unfair to me to have both Youkilis and A-Rod. So A-Rod went away.

      As far away as possible. We all knew what was coming with him anyway regardless of "the hip," or whatever.

          So H&V, what would you do in the case of Santana being signed to basically replace Medlen? Would you keep Medlen shelved?

          In terms of Venters, no star was signed. Braves kept it in house with Thomas.

              I use everyone. My franchise is separate from real life, so I don't care if they're hurt in real life. They're fine in my little virtual world.

                  I'm playing as the Braves in my Franchise. I actually just started it yesterday with the 2.0 rosters from here. I kept Venters and Walden active but I manually put Medlen on 60-day DL for "arthroscopic elbow surgery".

                  I see where you're coming from though, as it adds to the realism. I waited to start my franchise until Minor came back and plus I was enjoying RTTS.
