Timed hitting Online?

Can this be used in online head to head? Me and my old man been playing but he has been struggling at batting with zone, so I was wondering if its possible to set it up to use zone hitting so he has a more enjoyable experience.

pure analog is pretty much still just timing hitting except you do it with the analog

Timing is my favourite way to play too, because I'm old and I want less controls to worry about.

To be honest, if I was to play online (other than DD which I have only tried 3 times), I'd turn off the visibility of the Zone reticle and just pretend I was hitting on Timing. The Fielding, however, is another headache altogether...

That doesn't involve the left thumb stick?

not unless it is Alalog with zone, Pure Anlog is timing hitting, only just done with the right stick instead of the buttons, and is usable online.

There's still the in game menu glitch in Diamond Dynasty to turn on timing but I haven't yet tested it in play now.
