    Minors in Franchise Mode

I apologize, this is my first year with the show. When playing in franchise mode, do I have to control the lineup, rotation, playing time, etc of my farm system or is it handled on its owned?
Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
    CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

Check your MODE OPTIONS. You can set it to automate everything if you like.

Personally, I set scouting to Auto. I also set lineup control to MLB ONLY. Otherwise I will be bugged about invalid lineups because of every-day minor-league injuries.

I often times have my contracts set to auto to help me sign extra free agent prospects. It can be very tedious.

I still leave Roster Control on MANUAL because I still like to be the one who makes the call-ups / send-downs.

I must have missed that. I'll have to go look. I also have scouting on auto. I dont mind handling everything MLB wise. I just dont want to handle minors rotations and lineups. Since I am not playing those games (just the majors) I dont think its fair to mess with those lineups and such. Afterall, thats what the minor league manager is for lol. Which is essentionally what I want. I want the minor league manager to do his job and let me handle the major league.

By default the minor league managers will always handle the rotation and roster, you're just in charge of GM decisions. You can also become "hands on" and dictate the rotation or lineup orders but I don't know who would really go so far as to do that.

If you're overwhelmed by all the minor league stuff, you can also do season mode. Season mode is more than one season, but gets rid of training/scouting and you only have a 40-man roster to deal with. It's basically franchise lite.

              Re: Minors in Franchise Mode

Do minor league managers still do whatever they please with what line-ups you set for your minor league affiliates in Franchise? The past two years playing 12 & 13 on PS3 I would get annoyed by my minor league teams sneakily using completely different batting line-ups in games after I specifically adjusted them throughout the season based off player performances and my own call-ups and send-downs. I got the feeling that no matter what I set the line-ups to the CPU would change them for the actual games based off some sort of hidden algorithm they use that adjusts line-ups based off player ratings on the current AAA & AA roster.

Yeah the managerial aspect of this game is lacking.
