Ratings Spreadsheets for the O.S.F.M Opening Day set

I am working on creating spreadsheets for the entire Operation Sports Full Minors Opening Day set.
It will be in 4 parts
Part I- N.L. Batters which is already completed and a link provided
Part II- A.L. Batters(which is next up ...being worked on now)
Part III- N.L. Pitchers
Part IV- A.L. Pitchers

This spreadsheet contains the name/age/pos/secondary pos/handedness/pot(#)/ratings/pot(letter)/ovr/level/salary/contract length and options available.....all as they are on the Opening Day set.

It's a great companion piece for franchise players to track changes.....find players for signings/trades and just overall perusing!

It was created by a free spreadsheet program called Kingsoft. It saves to Excel as well(I'm not sure which version)...and the saves are Excel saves....so they should work with that as well.

It will....especially if you're going years into a franchise.
I really did it for a "check back" base...not for player finder(but I know that's how most people will use it, which is fine.)

Just so everyone knows....ALL players are included....MLB players as well as the minor league players.

Nice work Knight, another use for roster makers is to be able to see what ratings make up types of players..Continued success and thanks again for another great contribution.

Okay.....I put in the link for the spreadsheet that has ALL the position players for the entire O.S.F.M. OPENING DAY v2 set.
All levels.....(NO FA's) for each team.
I think it's just over 1400 players.

I'll start on the pitchers next.......I'll take any suggestions...

I'm leaning towards....

Team
age
Each pitch....for each pitcher.....speed-control-break(separate)
The /9's
potential(letter and number)
age
handedness
level
contract($$$ and length)
options
and durability.

No other offensive or defensive ratings(they are too similar to really matter for pitchers for the most part.)

This is basically what I wanted to do a couple months ago - i opened up a Google Spreadsheet and started to create teams but nobody joined in and inputting 2500 players by hand was too overwhelming.

I'd suggest putting in the service time if you can. The spreadsheet will be used in my case for trade analysis as well, and service time is something important to consider in trades.

Still working on it....albeit a bit more slowly than the batters due to work.

Thanks Knight165. Your spreadsheet is a Godsend. I am using it to enter data on the psp. Do you have an updated one? Also, they appear to be using zip ratings which doesn't consider park factors but is well suited because as I understand the sim engine doesn't either. Would you care to elaborate?
