Something I noticed post patch
So I've noticed since the last patch that the chalk on the dirt stays pristine the entire game. I know it's a very small detail but with the Show they are all about the small details. I noticed this the past two games I played without QC. Anyone else see this?Tags: None -

Pretty sure it's always been like that.
And I agree -- it should be something that slowly degrades over the course of the game. I think 2k12 had degrading chalk lines? -

Noticed this too. It was pretty well done pre-patch too. I guess whatever lighting bugs they fixed messed up the infield degradation. Hope it gets fixed.Comment

Re: Something I noticed post patch
I just completed a game and didn't notice any perfect dirt. The batters box gets chopped up by the cleats very badly, which is very good. Chalk may be another issue, I should take a look at chalk degradation next game and see how that looks.Red LegendComment

EDIT: Also the tracks left by players in the infield dirt between bases seems absent now.Last edited by bad_philanthropy; 05-25-2014, 09:58 PM.Comment

Re: Something I noticed post patch
The slide patterns are in around the base paths still. The batter's box chalk lines aren't degrading for whatever reason though post patch. Dirt particles are still around the batters box though. It's all in this video.

Here is a video from a couple of weeks ago. You can clearly see the chalk degrading.Comment

Re: Something I noticed post patch
The lighting in the game is very buggy. I am playing a game in Arizona with overcast and I've noticed two things. The pitchers mound has this weird black cloud by where he pitchers throw and then there is a section where the fans are darkened out.Attached FilesComment
