Anyone have a game yet where you just CAN'T win? Like everything you do is wrong, and everything the A.I. does is right? I was playing earlier and it seemed like that. I was dropping throws back into the infield, on routine throws, I couldn't hit the strike zone, I got 1 run on 2 hits, and they got 24 runs on 23 hits. LOL. It's like it was coded like that for that particular game (obv I know that's false, but it seemed like it.) This was The Show Live btw (Red Sox/Braves). So I figure I'd try again and I got a much better result, still lost 2-1, but it was realistic. LOL. So my question... has anyone had this happen to them yet?

In the past before MLB 13 I noticed that alot regardless of who it favored but less with 13 and its even less noticeable in 14 especially with using quick counts .

You gotta find your level and sliders to match your skills as I play default sliders AS hit/timed and Vet Pitching / Classic which is almost pefect for me but when I bump up pitching to AS level the game is unplayable for me just very frustrating , so just hang in there or maybe try DD mode which will adjust to your skill.

See on my level I can still adjust to the programming without me getting frustrated as it also seems to balance out in the long run most games and thats alls I require is a chance within those parameters so find your level and test it many games as the game can get pretty random at times and give you a false impression on a few games so play around twenty .

I just found my happy zone between whats realistic with the programming AI and my Skill level and let the rest unfold and try to adjust while still having some type of skill/control to win any game and thats the key for me .
I mean why even play something you have little say in so you might as well just watch , good luck and I hope I helped a bit as I also hated that Im not even playing feeling in the past games.

Hi again ,
Ok see I just started game #3 in Post season me W Sox Vs R Sox and I won both game 5-4 and 4-2 and both were 9th inning comebacks .

So game 3 starts and I feel I have a huge advantage over the cpu going in and sure enough I get bags loaded nobody out on two easy walks .
But then Konerko hits a Mid fly to LF and Eaton tags up but LF Sizemore throws him out at home which felt perfect as Eaton was 79 speed and sizemore is a 76 arm and 71 accuracy .
Dunn then hits a ball to first that Napoli bobbles but hes still easily out and I get no runs BUT man it was exciting and incredible programming with QC and I didnt feel cheated as I know I still have a chance pitching on Veteran BUT on Allstar I can guarantee you I would definitely be giving up some runs in the first because of my lack of patience and skill pitching on AS and I lost the placebo or the invisible AI advantage for now but I can still win back lol .

So once again find your acceptance zone of what you can believe or adjust to with your skill level win or lose and youll be fine as this game can humble you at times so try and even out , eliminate or lessen that part of the AI and if I just get to good at pitching on Vet I will make a tiny adjustment to the CPUs hitting slider for a little more pop as all the other stats are fine right now .

But lets not kid ourselves its not a traditional click slider based game as the adjustments are very subtle for most sliders and they dont really zero out and theres no slider for randomness but you can pretty much play any way you choose as theres many options and ways to play which is a great thing for all .
