Future Patch??

I really hope that SCEA will release a big patch to resolve the framerate issue! For me this game is unplayable so far and I'm really disappointed...Do you guys think that will be there another BIG patch for this game??

I'm with hear you man. I'm sure there will be a big patch coming within the next few weeks. SCEA is usually really good with post release support. There are a number of nagging issues that are holding the game back, frame rate being the biggest. It really takes away from the polished look & immersion. I wouldn't say the game is unplayable because it still plays a great game of baseball. That said, I really hope they iron out the kinks soon.

No framerate issues here man. Just some minor ones in cut scenes. Smooth during gameplay.

Same here. I see a few framerate issues in cutscenes but that is it.

To answer the OP's question, I would be surprised if there wasn't another patch at some point.

I guess only time will tell. I'm not sure what can or can't be fixed via a patch.

I don't know what TV you play on but I have seen 0% framerate issues with gameplay. Yes, there are some issues with the cutscenes, but it has nothing to do with the actual gameplay experience besides the presentation aspect of it. Definitely not unplayable for me. In fact, I've been addicted to my Astros franchise so far even though I am 6-11 and hitting like .220 lol.

I'm glad to see they fixed the lighting issues in Busch Stadium but is still hoping they'll work on Petco and PNC. Those two are still pretty bad.

I'd think so, this game is incomplete in a few ways. Not like its unplayable but I'd like to know personally if theres a date we can expect for improvements

I think so too. A lot of minor issues and hiccups with this game. And yes I also think that the framerate is one of the biggest problems here, ok it's next to nothing during the gameplay thats true, but for me its killing the immersion if they are present in the majority of cut scenes.

Thread not necessary. As soon as the info/date is known about a new patch it will be posted.

In the meantime we have two separate threads discussing both framerate and things you would like to be patched that you can discuss this stuff in.
