It may have been due to the fact that I was a little bit tired from work but I felt I couldn't see the ball well enough with the hitters eye and shadows. I know in real life this happens alot. I scratched across 1 run but lost the game 3-1. Just wondering if anyone else has a hard time hitting in Milwaukee during the day on a sunny afternoon.
Tell me about it, I use the Brewers in my franchise all the time and it drives me crazy!! There's other parks to but don't remember them, I do wish SCEA would do something to ease the strain of the eyes at some of these stadiums. Hell there's times the ball is hit (on a hard hit) that I don't have a clue where the ball went till its fielded... Smh... Ugh!

I would say Wrigley comes to mind. With the relatively small batters eye, rhp that throw 3/4 sometimes have the ball coming out of their hand with the crowd behind it, making it really hard to pick up.

Are these problems or just cool realism? I'm curious..

          Not likely.

It's not cool realism, no team would ever make it hard to see the ball on purpose. Someone could die if they couldn't pick the ball up clearly. Fenway closes an entire section of bleachers on day games behind the pitcher because it's just plain dangerous

Even with the night games it's still light out until about the 5th inning.

I haven't played in all the stadiums yet but so far that is the only one I have an issue with.
Same here. Huge glare issue at Safeco Field for me especially against left handers. Really annoying to be honest.

Now that we can change the weather.....thank you for posting that. Good fix indeed. Was driving me nuts!

I have found that most of the stadiums this year during day games, the hitters eye is too "reflective" and I have a really hard time picking the ball up. Safeco for sure, O.com at times is just as brutal, Progressive is still tough and Petco with certain lefties throwing are my toughest. I have always thought the day games were too bright and especially the home uniforms, I still lose teh ball in certain pitchers shirts.

Yeah in the PS3 version Progressive was so tough on a bright day. If the pitcher threw overhand you would loose it in the trees for just a second and made it really hard to pick up. So of course I was committed to an Indians franchise as well. Long home stretches would give me a headache.

For me in years past it was always Cleveland day games that were the worst. Didn't like Safeco either.

This year it was like they traded the badly colored trees in Cleveland with the trees in Philly. I can see fine in Cleveland, but, now Philly is like Cleveland used to be.

For my Milwaukee Franchise I only play overcast games.

I don't want my game to be so realistic I have no chance to hit so I am hoping they pay more attention to this. Other issue is I am sure it looks different on all types of TVs.

6'10 Chris Young, throwing a 12-6 curve that drops from the Stratosphere with a backdrop of sun / glare was comical...

Thankfully, I went "pitch count" on the guy, waited until the sun set in the 6th and made up for it, to a degree...

Good tip on the "overcast" tho...

I'll be VERY tempted to use that next time...

Oh man, I wish I would have read that before my series in Seattle. Oh well, good to know for the next time I am there. It is definitely the LED board that throws me off during the day, it's not as bad at night for some reason so overcast or rainy is likely the way to go for a day game.

*Shudders* Oh man I remember facing Garza there a couple years ago, I think I struck out 12 times in 6 innings trying to see that ball out of his hand.

Totally agree. I thought it was just me, so it's nice to know others have this issue. I've actually thought about just not playing there.

I have some difficulty in Chicago too (Cubs) during the day.
