Re: Player/Team celebrations for MLB 15

CATEGORIES (NOTE: ALL CELEBRATIONS MUST BE A RITUAL AND NOT A ONE OFF)
    2. Home plate celebrations after a home run: When a player hits a home run and as he touches home plate, does he do some sort of hand gesture or a handshake with the on deck batter to celebrate?

    TEAM INVOLVED
    - Detroit Tigers

    PLAYER(S) INVOLVED
    - Miguel Cabrera

    DESCRIPTION
    - After Miggy hits a home run, he takes his helmet off as he crosses home plate. If there were men on base, he'll cross forearms with them (making an "X"). Then he does a quick fist bump with the hitter that is on deck (usually up, down, and a pat on the helmet for the hitter on-deck).

    REFERENCE (VERY IMPORTANT!)
    - The celebration starts around 25 seconds into this video:

Carlos Gomez (MIL) basically sprints around the bases after a home run, and before he touches second base and third base he taps his helmet twice.

If I may add on to this.

        PLAYER(S) INVOLVED
        - A lot of the Tigers players do that upwards forearm bump towards the air with each other. It is in the video. Miggy does it with Hunter. Not sure if its a Miggy specific thing, but I do notice a lot of them doing it.

CATEGORIES (NOTE: ALL CELEBRATIONS MUST BE A RITUAL AND NOT A ONE OFF)
            3. On base celebrations: When a player gets a big hit and is on any base, does he do some sort of hand gesture or anything else to celebrate the hit.

            TEAM INVOLVED
            - Los Angeles Dodgers

            PLAYER(S) INVOLVED
            - Adrian Gonzalez and Hanley Ramirez both have unique gestures they do back to their dugout after a big hit (not a home run).

            DESCRIPTION
            - Adrian Gonzalez does a self exploding fist bump type gesture. It got famous during the NLCS last year but he does it in regular season games too.

            - Hanley Ramirez does the "I see you" gesture back to the dugout after a big hit. Where he makes an "ok" gesture with both hands held up to his eyes.

            REFERENCE (VERY IMPORTANT!)
            - Adrian Gonzalez (gif shows a double move but he generally does just one in regular games. gif is from the playoffs)

            - Hanley Ramirez

every team don't have enough focus on stadium celebration ... sometime you don't even see the fireworks just see the manager and the same animation for years... when a homerun is made like at san francisco you should have a close up to the fountains and see the horn and make the real leight of it... tampa bay horn is wrong... and the tropicana field logo should light up... brewers you don't see the mascot sliding anymore... things like that should be accurated since making a homerun its the main point of baseball...

On a related note, there should be specific cameras to show a ball going over the Green Monster, or a ball going into McCovey Cove. Or any other stadium specific things like that.

A small amendment to this: if Logan Morrison is at 1B he will come over and they will both point into the sky at where the arrow went. Video:

Morrison hasn't played much 1B this year, and both he and Rodney are in their first year with the Ms, but they look set to be there next year too and they do this every time. They say the same thing every time too, that the arrow went ALL the way out there or something along those lines. The linked video from mlb.com shows exactly what I'm talking about.

For the third year, the Pirates have brought back the "Zoltan Z" on base celebration. When any player gets an extra-base hit or drives in a run with a base hit, they do the Zoltan hand gesture from the Dude, Where's My Car? movie. For some weird reason, there are signs in the game with this symbol on them, but the players don't do it in the game yet.

                                DESCRIPTION
                                1. Every time Andrew McCutchen hits a home run, he shuffles for a step or so and tips his cap as he touches home plate. This is apparently a shout-out to his fiance.
                                2. Every time Pedro Alvarez hits a home run, he points with both hands to the sky and looks up at the sky. After returning to the dugout, he does a "bull" gesture with his fingers in a "Hook Em Horns" gesture on top of his head with several teammates. (I couldn't find a video of him doing this, but he does it every time. This goes along with Pedro's "El Toro" nickname.
                                3. This year, the Pirates have all started doing Daniel Bryan's WWE "Yes!" celebration in the dugout after every home run. The player that hits is walks through all of the players on the bench and they all do the hand gesture and chant "Yes, yes, yes!"
