Re: MLB 15 Road To The Show Wishlist

I hate that they took away the newspaper and its ridiculous that they still don't have a twitter feed when the other 2 major sports both have one in there respective Career modes.

Also coach/manager logic sucks they really need to give the managers a brain yesterday I was on 2nd with a guy on 3rd 1 out and the pitcher was up to bat and guess what he struck out instead of BUNTING for a run. that's just bs

Also camera angles need to be fully customizable I usually play 2b for my cubs but with how stacked they are at IF positions I decided to play LF now and needless to say the transition hasn't been so smooth giving the fact that they don't allow u to zoom out the camera so I can see where the ball is going to land have to base it solely on ball trajectory.
Only thing in sports that matters is Chicago Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Blackhawks .

All I want is customizable draft classes like in 2K that we can upload to the vault, & a create a stadium feature for franchise mode

Re: MLB 15 Road To The Show Wishlist

        No specific order

        1. More batting glove/shoe styles (already been discussed on here)

        2. More options for walk ups/HR styles--like being able to use Jose Bautista HR swing with Pedroia's walk up and Hunter Pence's actual stance (just random examples)

        3. SINGLE-A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        4. Better GM/Manager logic. Take it to another level--GM/Manager traits. One GM may take more of a "moneyball"/saber metrics approach during the offseason, another may be more inclined to get into a spending war. Plenty more you could use
        Chicago Cubs
        Michigan Wolverines

        Thanks Peyton. #18

I definitely want stuff that's been mentioned in here. The contracts meaning something, 2k-style things like picking targets for free agency/trade deadline (if course if your in MLB), A ball and A+/A-/rookie
          Ball, etc.

Re: MLB 15 Road To The Show Wishlist

            1. I think the mlb draft in the show is just embarrassing. Theres absolutely no fun in it whatsoever, all you do in it is scout and find out some of their attributes like contact, hitting, fielding, etc. It's not helpful really and it's just no challenge to it. All I really end up paying attention is their potential. They should make it more like madden and unlock attributes and get certain amount of points a week. It should also have a draft board of projected picks.

            2. The draft presentation is awful, in fact its hard to say there's any presentation at all. There's no commentary you just pick and thats the end of it. They need to add some storylines like in madden to make the draft somewhat fun to do.

            3. Why doesn't the draft give us any info on the college they go to or where the high school is in like what state. It makes it a lot interesting when they add little simple detail like that.

The show draft is far behind any other games draft and they should really start looking in to fix it. Reply to this if you have anything to add on it!

Improve being a catcher in RTTS as a catcher let me get to know my pitchers maybe have pitcher catcher meetings or something.
Maybe have the pitcher decline your signals sometimes maybe add some sort of trust or chemistry that develops over time.
Look over to the manager if you don't know what to throw I remember being a catcher in RTTS for the first time and didn't really know what to do it could be nice if we looked over to the manager in the dugout and he gave you a couple of locations.
Let me call timeout and have a meeting with the pitcher on the mound

                  One thing.

                  Bring back Move batting.

Seems like with the awesome new camera you should be able to actually track a swing- angle, arc, position in the zone etc., and adapt that to major league strength/speed.

Even though it was only contact hitting before, it was still the Move that made this my go to game.

You could always leave the old settings for someone who just wants to sit on the couch and twitch the Move at the right moment....

Honestly, it's boring hitting with sticks and without the ability to stand up in my living room and swing away, I'm probably done.

I'd like to see the team bring back face capturing for RTTS/CAP using either the PS4 camera or some sort of digital picture import.

Fix the size if the interlocking NY on the Yankee helmets. It's too darn large. I don't know why they went with this but it all started in MLB13. It was fine before that.

Update player models since the hardware is a lot better in the PS4 console than the PS3.

Get new commentators. The current group is stale and it needs a change.

Have more classic stadiums available such as the original Yankee Stadium 1923 - 1973. Add Ebbets Field I to the mix as well.

Re: MLB 15 Road To The Show Wishlist

Some things I would like to have

                          - The ability to manage the Roster that I use. I.E. - set line-ups/pitching rotation for all teams of the club and positions that they play
                          - Control of trades/releases/free agency

I would like to have this control because, as an RttS player, I want to play with the players and stars that are on the team now/today. By the time you move to the MLB team the CPU has done "CPU" things and the team you play on may not be the team you watch play on TV every day. Having this as an option, for those that want to, will greatly enhance the game play fantasy......

I would like to also see (as a RttS Pitcher)

-Indications or notification of Defensive Shifts prior to and during an opponents at bat (I use to use the DPad down arrow to get the pushed back fielder cam view to see quickly but that "disappeared" this year) This helps with knowing how to pitch a batter

                          - The ability to view the batters stats against your prior match-ups (with hot/cold zone map and strike zone map), also the batters history against other right/left hand pitchers.
-Batter strengths and weaknesses (in depth scouting report) Loves (or weak) High/low/inside/outside, loves fast ball low in, weak to outside curve, etc....

                          - More stats overlays of your past pitching performances against the team you are facing (even against the batters also)

                          - More focus on in game achievements and how it compares to club/division/MLB I.E. 10 straight games with 12 K's, or even bad ones like 6 straight games walking the lead off, or 4 games in a row giving up a lead off HR.... The add something like - The last team to do that was in 1904/Last pitcher to do that was Fast McFreedy in 1892 at the Dirt Lot Field...etc It can even be a stat overlay/pop-up if getting the announcers say it is tough/too much work

                          - ability to "simulate" having the pitcher (user playing) chose the uniform for the game (let you choose the home/away style uniform)

                          - expand the "shake-off" to the catcher, have the catcher suggest a few pitches, then have him come to the mound and you chose your pitch (I usually play with API calling game, this would be nice but make it optional)

                          - More after pitch interactions? cut scenes? Since they removed slow play this year, to me, the games feel to fast and I would love the ability to have a few more cut scenes or show pitcher walking around the mound, pacing, messing with the rosin bag, even have the pitcher request a new ball ... Gives me time to think before the next pitch... where as of right now I pause the game. This would make it more natural (of course this would be optional for those that like a fast game) Then hit the X button as usual....

                          - Need to have the pitcher kneeling when catcher throws to 2nd on a steal attempt, looks weird having the ball pass through him now

                          - Have a cut scene when you are replaced showing you walking to the dug out and having the crowd cheer (or Boo)

                          - need to have more info presented during the game when you are injured. Right now it's a dramatic cut to the sim menu leaving you wondering what just happened

                          - Of course the usual more custom gear, more uniforms, stadiums, unbuttoned jersey, short sleeves in the winter, rain outs/delays, ability to "shave" in the middle of the season (or vice versa), etc..

This is some of MY wish list....and I know it's just wishes...

                              My wishlist:

                              1. Allow us to use existing Minor League Baseball players from AAA, AA and A for RTTS like Irving Falu.

Just thought I'd let you know that Sony might want to select a cover athlete. I myself have a strong feeling that the cover athlete of MLB 15: The Show would be Carlos Gomez. My top 10 for MLB 15: The Show cover is:

                              1. Carlos Gomez (Milwaukee)
                              2. Johnathan Lucroy (Milwaukee)
                              3. Aramis Ramirez (Milwaukee)
                              4. Clayton Kershaw (Los Angeles <NL>)
                              5. David Price (Detroit)
                              6. Miguel Cabrera (Detroit)
                              7. Andrew McCutchen (Pittsburgh)
                              8. Paul Goldshmit (Arizona)
                              9. Prince Fielder (Texas)
                              10. Chase Utley (Philadelphia)

                                Some suggestions:

                                - I'd like position players to be able to choose to be a pitcher or vice versa if their current career path isn't working.

                                - I also want other relief pitching career options, like long relief, middle relief, set-up, and so on, besides closer. Maybe the set-up man can transition to closer, if he wants, as he advances through his career.

                                - I don't even bother with catcher in RTTS, but I would if it included more attributes. I'd love to see pitch framing/game calling/sequencing/etc. be incorporated. It's such an important part of being a catcher but seems to be missing.

And I know this isn't RTTs-related but my kingdom for the ability to pitch with a position player in a blowout or an extra-extra inning game. It might seem silly but having to burn your relievers in blowouts/extra long games is kind of annoying. Maybe give Danny Worth a knuckleball.
