Most HR's Hit in a Year with 1 Player...Any Mode
Trying to see what the most home runs anyone has hit in a season is. It can be any mode, but with NO simulated games. Wanting to see how many everyone actually hit themselves. I hit 24 last year in my second RTTS season.Tags: None -

Do you use Power swing always or Normal Swing? I want to think Power swing should give you a good power advantage but not sure it really does. Also, I noticed with PCI on, if you use guess pitch and get location and type correctly, it doesnt let you move the PCI cursor after the screen flashes. I never noticed this before, as I never used the PCI before. Needless to say, I turned it off after a couple test games. Wasn't a fan.Comment

99% of the time I use normal swing, same for NOT guessing pitches. I like to have as much control as possible and when I would guess a location right, sometimes it would lock my cursor to where I would hit a weak grounder or pop up.Comment

Lou Gehrig, All-time Classic Franchise, .366 avg, 45 HR, 152 RBI
Mantle had 42, DiMaggio 40, and Ruth was benched a lot and hit 22. He was surprising lousy against Lefties (hit like .220, but .320 vs. R)Comment

Playing legitimately, I hit 77 with my first baseman (12); illegitimately, this year I'm up to 96 (49 in AA, 47 in AAA with my First Baseman with the White Sox) just after the All-Star break. Hoping to reach the 200 mark in a season this year.Kris Bryant doesn't hit homeruns, he destroys pitcher's dreams. #BryantwatchComment

Last year went for 46 homers in back to back seasons with my RTTS centerfielder. Only made it 5 years into my career I think (not including minors). I would have probably gone 50+ several times if I would have kept going. This year I wanna hit 50+ at least once, but I'm not gonna nerf the difficulty level in order to do it.Comment

Hit 55 with Hanley Ramirez in MLB 12 on HOF. He hit .370 for me that year and had a 44 game hitting streak. It was the best season I have ever had on the show with anyone and the only time I have ever played the full 162 game schedule.
I haven't completed a season yet this year but Chris Carter leads the way with 18 homers in about 40 games so far in my Astros chise.Comment

I'm still playing '13 and in the 2019 season for RTTS. 2017 was my 1st full season in The Show. In 2018, I hit 52 hr, while using power button (no guess pitching). In 2019, my average has went up (.298 to 307 w/ 13 games left in season), SO down, and HR is at 35. Every edition, I play RTTS and play every game possibility given. I usually end up playing 7-9 years into the mode.
edit: When I start '14 (waiting for pitching edits), I'm going to play RTTS and Chise. I want to start scouting talent and seeing kids come up through the system.Comment
