Too Much Clipping

There is a lot of clipping going on.

Specifically players clipping through other players, and fans clipping through the walls/fences.

I know that clipping is to be expected in every game, but this is happening too often.

Anyone else experiencing this? Something that can be improved in a patch?

I would not expect this to be addressed in a patch but the collision avoidance has been spotty on field this year.

I was really hoping that at least tags through players would be a thing of the past on the ps4. This always takes me out of the otherwise excellent presentation.

Basically it is horrible. I am pretty glad I skipped this year. I will be preordering next year though. This one just looked like a massive disappointment imo but that is somewhat to be expected during the transition.

Its better than the PS3 version and any other year.

It's time to move on for some of us. I no longer am amazed at visuals that look like 1080p PS3. I have been playing a PC for 4 years now. Time to move on from this jank. It seems like they agree. The focus is shifting to PS4 and thank god.

id also like to point out invisible air bubbles around players ---hit a liner @ a pitcher last night and in the replay it never actually touched him, just got near him and re directed

Lucky you... Hell everytime I hit one even near a pitcher they catch it... I'm waiting for one to be drilled off the forehead or knee cap and then bounce straight back to the short wall behind home plate then have the catcher grab it and still turn a double play!!! Lol. Anyone else also get annoyed at the jet pack that all the catchers apparently wear? I can hit a full swing dribbler fair or foul and it seems like the catcher has the ball before the batter is even finished with his swing!!

Catchers fingers clipping through their equipment when throwing signs has already gotten very old on me. Collisions physics need to come to this game in a hurry, it feels like 5 years behind that no collision intelligence is even in the series yet but hopefully they debut with a good system and it is done next year.

I've had some weird things happen with clipping and people not even touching things. For example, Aaron Hill turned a double play on me, but didn't even touch 2nd. His foot was over the bag, but not even on it.

Sounds like days of baseball past, they didn't have to touch the bag just be near it.

Catchers fingers clipping through their equipment when throwing signs has already gotten very old on me. Collisions physics need to come to this game in a hurry, it feels like 5 years behind that no collision intelligence is even in the series yet but hopefully they debut with a good system and it is done next year.

I've been playing RTTS mostly so i haven't been pitching much.

But i started playing quick games recently, and i literally can't see what pitch the catcher is calling for sometimes because his fingers are clipping through his equipment.

Hopefully all of this clipping is really improved upon in a patch, and if not then next year.

The clipping on the shin guards gets me. But I'm picky.

And what's with the grass dirt line behind the batter? At least when it's a right batting. Between pitches sometimes it shows the batter (righty) from the perspective of the other side of the plate and right behind the batter you can see the grass dirt line and it's flickering. Not sure if I explained it very well but if you've seen it you'll know what I'm talking about. It looks terrible.
