Franchise Problem: Starters playing 2 days in a row

Multiple times now I've had a starter pitch 2 days in a row. My team always loses the next game due to my starter having bad stamina. When I actually look at who is to be starting games throughout the month they are all out of wack. I has Marcus Stroman pitching 3 days in 6 days. The last time he started it was supposed to be Buehrle but one I started the game stroman was pitching.

Has anyone else been having these problems?

This is weird. I've never experienced anything like this and haven't heard any such complaints. Makes no sense that the game would have the same pitcher starting consecutive games or three times in a stretch of six games. Do you have five starters designated in roster control?
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

"What? You can't challenge a scoring play?''

I do. It's very weird. I love this game but there are some weird issues with it. Most having to do with fielding.

Can you provide video? Showing your rotation and then maybe go through the schedule to show the next 5 days worth of projected starters? Are you playing these games or simulating them. I assume simulating because if you were playing them you could pick your starter.

I've actually been playing them for the most part. Unless I'm tired of using a certain pitcher. The games that have been repeated were both simmed and played. Buehrle was supposed to start one of the games but Stroman was the guy who ended up on the mound. Buehrle's face and name was on the schedule. The previous time this happened Stroman was scheduled two games in a row on the schedule but I assumed it was a glitch. Maybe it's just a Stroman glitch? I'm using the Operation sports rosters.
          That game was not simmed.

Also how do you choose the starter? I tried to figure it out but could only change my lineup. I'm new to this series. I've been changing my rotation each day to get each guy his proper starts.

In the pitcher select screen, the guy at the top of the list is the one starting, if it holds to what the previous versions have done.

Are you doing this as an online or offline franchise? Online has this known problem of starting the same pitcher multiple days in a row.

                Offline franchise - I do a "play 1, sim 5" and I haven't noticed it yet.

Re: Franchise Problem: Starters playing 2 days in a row

I've been through 3 seasons and this has never happened. The cpu sometimes switches to a 3man rotation in the playoffs but reg season has always been fine. Go into rotation, set the 5 guys, then go back to the calendar and look ahead and see what it shows. The game always rotates spot 1 through spot 5 regardless of depth chart or stamina. For example if your fifth starter gets hurt and needs to miss a start so you just go back to your ace and have him pitch a day early the game still counts that as the "5 spot" and will have your ace pitch again the next day because it's now on the "1 spot". So maybe someone got hurt or something and you hit auto and it got messed up.

Sim up to any day and see who the calendar says is starting, then look at your pitching depth chart and see where that guy is on the list. Regardless of who it is, if that guy is, say, third on the list then the game is on the "3 spot" and will start whoever you put there. Then 4, 5, 1, 2, etc.

Issue that I've noticed is the CPU starts relievers when a starter gets hurt. Who knows how long this has been happening, I just noticed the other night. Anyone else seeing this?

I'm thinking it had something to do with Stroman, my number 5. Both times it messed up it was him that got the extra start. I happened again where he waent on three days rest and took a guys spot. I adjusted my rotation before playing to make sure the right guy started.

This happened to me too. The CPUs first day starter pitched every single game in the series. Happened to my cousin in the same franchise as well.

Only happens in online. I have an offline franchise going as well and 47 games in, I haven't seen it yet.
