Kind of a gamebreaking bug for me that happened last night.

Skip Schumaker pinch hit forJohnny Cueto in the 9 spot in the bottom of the 6th inning. Sam Lecure then came in to pitch in the top of the 7th inning, entering the lineup in the 9 spot. This should take Skip Schumaker out ofthe game permanently. However, the 9 spot in the order came upagain in the bottom of the 7th inning and much to my surprise SkipSchumaker came up to the plate (instead of Sam Lecure). The DH rulewas not in effect because Johnny Cueto had already hit twice in the game. So Schumaker proceeds to hit a double in his SECOND at bat and then I put athird pitcher, Mat Latos, into the game also in the 9 spot. Theinteresting thing is that when the 9 spot came up again in the bottom of the 8th(yes I was mashing at that point), it asked to put in a pinch hitter forLatos.

From what you describe it sounds like a double switch.

Don't feel bad if you don't know what that is. Tony LaRussa didn't know how to do a double switch when he first started managing in the NL.

Except he pinch hit for him, a double switch is only done while you're in the field.... Although he could have double switched in the next half inning I don't think he would have been able to swap a position player for a pitcher without noticing. Unless he was either really high or tired this sounds like a weird one off bug. It's never happened to me.

If the game is moving at the speed of light with quick counts or fast play, might have missed the animation referring to the double switch though. You can pinch hit one inning, then the following as you enter the field, make it an official double switch. I do it all the time being an NL team.
