Quick and deceptive are really the only types that will result in overthrows, but even those have a pretty low chance (with deceptive being slightly higher). If you are you are throwing over a lot or if the runner is not taking a significant leadoff, the chance for overthrow increases.

All this being said, the chances are pretty slim. I just tried 20x in a row with a quick move which resulted in zero overthrows. I'm not sure how carefully you (collectively) are tracking these instances, but we have had no reports internally that indicated an issue.

If anyone has some specific statistics, please pass them along.
The overthrows are one thing which I've seen happen not all that often....but, not to bring this so far off topic, the larger issue for me (I use auto baserunning) is how easily the cpu can pick off my own baserunners. I actually had to tune down the cpu pickoff frequency slider because I was getting 1-2 guys picked off each game--a leadoff walk was nearly a death sentence. I've seen a bug report on that at ShowNation for this issue, but issues with the pickoff game are definitely noticeable in general.

My biggest gripe so far is seeing two runners tag and score from second on deep outs to center. Pretty unrealistic in my opinion.

I haven't seen that yet and I hope that I never do, lol.

I did it successfully in MLB 12, I believe. I didn't score two runners, there was just a runner on second. It bummed me out that I did not receive a sacrifice fly for it (no errors were involved in the play).

This is good to know, now maybe I can at least throw over once in a while. Thanks.
