im new 2 ps4 and im used 2 2k becuz of xbox the hitting in this game is to hard im either too early or to late with swings im playing on pro culd anybody tell me what to do?

Increase the 'Timing Window' slider, it will be more forgiving. If you're having trouble identifying the pitch type, decrease the 'Pitch Speed' slider to give yourself more time.

im playing on rookie on 2k i got like 7 runs a game i no 1 of my problems is i swing at everything and every time i power swing it a out and contact swing i hit grounders but the normal get me a base hit

Timing is weird in this game, as there is no significant differentiation between the timing for inside and outside pitches, so it's going to feel weird.

In real life you generally have to swing early on inside pitches, and let the ball travel when away, but this game doesn't simulate that and instead lets the batter animation compensate for the timing differential.

Long story short, you're timing should more or less always be up the middle.

Dont use power swing !! Only use X to swing .. Here is the best advice i can give you .. when the pitcher is about to throw the pitch just relax and think about nothing !!
just watch the ball and let yourself react to it. Think of nothing and just watch the ball !

Well that's a little harsh, lol. I don't get the part caps, part lower case thing and text-speak either, but kids these days, eh?

I'd just like to add practice to the list. While it's a video game and is supposed to be leisurely, to get good at anything, you have to practice. There's only so much a message board can do for you in that respect.

Take pitches!! Don't swing at them just take them in practice mode. It will get you in the habit of not swinging at everything and will also help you in judging whether the pitch is a ball or strike. It helps me anyway when I'm struggling.

Thank you everyone i'm doing really good at hitting since i switched to PCI instead of timing and being patience.I'm playing pro now what is a good slider for the cpu pitcher to stop throwing strikes 80% of the time?And to stop striking out the cpu all the time,I get at least 10ks per game.And i'm not a kid i'm 21 i was just lazy that day.

I might be wrong but if memory serves me correctly try cpu strike frequency. When your on the slider page it describes what each slider does, go through the cpu pitch sliders and read what each one does.
