For some reason, the Twins take the worst deals of any team. I've cycled through all 29 other teams in several franchises trying to see who might take crappy guys I didn't want anymore, and MIN was always willing to take the most un-tradeable players that no other team would even consider. I think I unloaded Daric Barton and some D POT catcher one year for Plouffe and Dozier.

IDK what makes them especially susceptible to taking crap deals, but they are the worst in the league at the trade logic in my experience.

I haven't found the trades to be that bad. I've even tried to steal some prospects for nothing and it doesn't work too well.

I think the main problem is that the AI doesn't know when they should be in "buy" or "sell" mode. They all seem willing to trade away their prospects for declining veterans just due to the boost in overall. Then they are stuck with an awful contact, a declining player, and lose their prospect. I could see making a trade for an 80+ overall 35 year old when you are a few games back of the wild card and you have an expenditure of prospects, but it seems that the computer is always willing to do this.

Then you add in the fact players decline insanely fast once they hit 35 and these deals look even worse.

This is why I take away the CP position from this game, it shouldn't even be a position of value to influence a trade the way it can. All CPs even Craig Kimbrel are RPs in my game. As you can scour the rotation for every team you'll notice that there are no discrepancies to who the CPU places in the CP position.

For you I wish you could have experimented this format before you got this deep in your season. I like to know how this will effect trading and any other transactions as much as possible.
